By saying that "you dismiss my God for the same reason I dismiss others" is proving you don't understand the true tenets of Christian faith. The reason I dismiss other gods cannot be said for mine. And I'm not sure where you get the idea that "religion has been proven fallacy" because I can say evolution and it's genetic holes is complete fallacy and therefore provide a reasonable argument for creation science. And respect is a two way street my friend. Don't expect tolerance while you insult us

I respect peoples beliefs and I will defend your right to exercise those beliefs to the death, even if I do not personally agree with them. The only thing I ask, and this is by no means aimed at you personally, is that you do not try and force those beliefs on me. Too often do I get stopped in the street by a preacher telling me to convert and be saved. I have made up my mind on how I want to live my life, and I respect the fact that you have done the same. Can you not show me respect in return?

However, I strongly believe that the ideals taught by religion are well founded. I just think it is possible to be a good person and not devote yourself to something that in my opinion has been proved to be a fallacy. There's one quote that has stuck with me for my whole life that defines perfectly why I disagree with religion. Of course you may ask, but I have so many reasons I couldn't possibly explain them all here! Mainly though, I feel strongly that religion WAS relevant many years ago, when we did not understand some of the 'bigger' questions in life. It's so easy to say, when the answer isn't immediately obvious to you "Oh it's magic" or "Oh we were created by a man in the clouds." We now know the real answers, thus rendering religion a ludicrous fiction, entertained simply because of old traditions.

I really do like Phil Wickham, he sings and plays to a very high standard and his songs are indeed beautiful. But I don't agree with the ideas he puts forward in his lyrics, so I find it difficult to overcome the clashing of our beliefs. Personally, I don't believe in god, and this effects my perception of the music I'm hearing. I'm still unsure whether this is a valid reason to not listen to it though. If the subject matter wasn't so personally controversial I would probably listen every day!

Gosh, this is such a great song! I went to church today and the worship band sang it today, it was so beautiful and everyone was singing it. it was so amazing, great song! Phil Wickham is an amazing musician!

My evening church plays this song literally about every other week and it is right before Baptisms (up to 103 this year so far in the evening worship). I guess it is because I am used to how my church plays it, but the song is sorta slow to em in this version.
