You always have the option of having the power company disconnect you. Hook up a solar power system. Get off the grid. I'm sure you would find the extra cost justifiable. You people are buying into bullshit. Educate yourselves! The only downside to these meters are people losing there jobs. That's what pisses me off. The power companies want to know how much and when you use power. It allows them to be more efficient and make more money. It's called capitalism. The American dream.
