ive done this with my cat dammit. id run the pointer up to a door and shut it off. hed stop and wait for it to come out. i wquit doing it fast because he would run into the door hard. or id put the pointer just out of reach maybe 4ft above him on a wall. hed study it wait for it to lower. when it didnt hed get ready and attack it
