Call me stupid, but the video says ok for boiling water...last time I checked boiling water WAS a hot liquid. On the bottom of the bottle however, it says not for use with hot liquids. Now I have seen many use this to boil water but what's with the warning on the bottle?
@hanslollick93 thats soo they dont get sued ...some idiot burns his hand on a hot bottle ..because its single walled ..they have to put a warning like that
Listen to your consumers! They are the people who give you money. We want the standard design available, however it is IMPOSSIBLE to find anywhere. You could make so much money if only you made it available again.
I wouldn't mind getting one of these, as I like the idea of being able to A) boil in it, and B) use the Splash Guard. But does anyone know if I can use Camelbak Better Bottle lids on this (and also the Aquamira Frontier in-bottle filters)? Or the Humangear cap?
You should know that the 38oz Nalgene branded bottle does not work with existing plastic Nalgene parts. The threads on your bottle are way too different for lids and such to make a seal. It's a great bottle otherwise.
