Thanks for the advice! Yes, my son had surgery with the wonderful Dr. Park in July and is now back to walking, but still working on building up strength. He's taking karate but I'd like to get him into horseback riding. I've heard it can really help with hip strength and overall strengthening. I hope Sam continues to make progress - what an amazing kid!
Oh man, is he cute! Great job, Samuel. My little guy is having selective dorsal in a couple of months and although he walks independently, we're hoping he has a better gait pattern and can run faster after surgery.
@reggieboy04 ..I'm so sorry that i have just seen this comment. By now I'm assuming your son has had the surgery and I pray all went well. Samuel just started horse therapy this week, and it looks like it may be wonderful for him to gain strength in his legs. If ya'll have something like that available I would highly recommend it a few months after the surgery.
