  • Thanks Fran for all the trouble, great video.

  • @baycast Very welcome I. Hope you'll watch the whole movie, and that my "instructions" help out - LOL.

  • I'm out of here.

  • @buzzclick500 Say what?

  • @chalomirof63 : Sorry....I didn't follow your clearly stated instructions. It's cool.

  • @buzzclick500 No problem; I know it's a bit confusing, as I didn't post all the parts, so tried to lead the viewer to each successive part with the appropriate link. As I said, just check the "description", and you'll see the links with the part # of the movie.

  • @chalomirof63 : Your customer service skills are excellent--thanks for your patience and forbearance. ;])

  • @buzzclick500 Again, no problem. :)

  • Great upload. A really great film.

  • lol it alweys craks me up how th so called 'cool' in these films always insist in their whisky, did they never hear of a quality rum...

  • thanks for postin, anywun too thick to read the desc dunt deserve 2 wotch this most amazing of films, thanks again and happi new year from Tibet

  • missing too many parts to make viewing enjoyable. Just thought that that warning should be posted to guide the unsuspecting viewer.

  • @huskyjerk Just fyi, every single scene IS posted. First of all, I didn't post every single scene myself, so I went out of my way - in all MY descriptions - to post the links to every succeeding part. If you read every bit of my descriptions, you'll see this. I note "PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ DESC." for the very purpose of leading the viewer to the links! Please acknowledge!

  • @huskyjerk Also, if you look up "Odds Against Tomorrow", most of the parts come up, and where I didn't post a scene, I reiterate, I always give the link to lead one to each succeeding scene.

  • @huskyjerk Also, if you check the comments below, you'll see where I explained the very same thing about the parts to someone called "argaretbea".

  • Its hard to believe that Robert Wise went on to direct tthe Sound Of Music and West Side Story a few years after this film !

  • @miltsar Hard to believe, ay? I guess he couldn't be pigeon-holed.

  • Chalomir163 - I'm having trouble replying in the normal way as the icons disappear when my mouse gets near them. Thanks so much for your advice about the whole movie being posted. Clever person.

  • @argaretbea You're very welome, and I take it you're smart enough to understand my little notes re: the links. As several others posted parts of this movie, I couldn't note Pts. 2, 3, 4, etc. in a nice, logical way, so I had to try to make the chronology clear. BTW: "....when the mouse gets near them"! LOL.

  • I saw this on release. Gloria Grahame and Shelley Winters were considered real sex symbols back them. The music was by the Modern Jazz Quartet. Must try to pick up a copy and watch it again after these 60 years.

  • @argaretbea It's a great one, but actually, the whole movie is posted. Where I post "Please read description", this is so you can locate the link to the next part. And I did note The Modern Jazz Quartet in the description.

  • The soundtrack has Bill Evans on Piano and Jim Hall on guitar.

  • Wheres 4/14 & 5/14 ?

  • Thank-you! I've never heard of this film, and it's a treat to find it. Great cast. Great noir!

  • @lauraalittle I'm really happy to hear this, and you're very, very welcome; a labor of love. One of my all-time faves!!!

  • Oh, well done Franny!!!

  • Whiskey and water. A man's drink. I expected nothing less from Robert Ryan.

  • How times have changed. At 2:39, "You little pickeninny..."

  • @ThatsMrMoronToYou

I bet that girl went back home and asked her parents "what's a pickeninny?"
