  • @humayrap hmmm good question Im not sure I dont want to advice using something I havent tried on myself sorry lovely :(

  • @humayrap put your bottle in a pot of boiling water.

  • @DIVADOLLMALDONADO Hey can you use water and rose water ?? I saw another video and she put water or essential oil jst a lil drop so it would smeel good i guess.. Is dat ok ? I mean would it s be as good?

  • Thanks so much for sharing this. You saved me some money. Be blessed

  • Here is the main source that I read the whole thing about mold :) I was so happy using this for a couple a days until I saw the mold :(

  • Yeah for sure I threw it out! I have been reading though that without a preservative glycerin and water will grow lots of mold. So what I saw looked like tiny fuzzy balls of mold! SO, I guess I wont make it anymore bc its bad to put that on your skin and next to your eyes. If you must, I read its better to make a batch and only use it that day and keep it in the refrigerator. I am working abroad in Asia and fix plus is like $30, so I was trying to save $ but might just buy it :(

  • Hey I made one but at the bottom of the little spray bottle I started to see little black balls at the bottom like lint balls or something, I tried rinsing it but they stick down there.....did that happen to you or anyone?

  • @pattygcakes87 Hey sweetie I actually didnt havent had that problem. Im not even sure what it could be I would NOT reuse that bottle if the particles are still in the bottom.

  • Thank u so much! Jus wondering if i can use distilled water instead of purified water?

  • @SoLoveTiffany Hey Lovely!! yes you def can!!!

  • OMG i luv this.. im going out to CVS as soon as im off work.. Thanks babe <3

  • @HoneyDollFaceLaRue Awww you are sooo very welcome!!! Letme know if it works for you Doll!!!Thanks for watching!!!

  • Hi can u use Rose water instead of distiller or purified water

  • @noreenbukhari79 Hey sweetie! I havent tried using Rosewater I dont think it would it would be bothersome to the skin but everyone's skin type is different so I would suggest doing a little research first. Hope this helps!!

  • @VCarter19 Your welcome!! Anytime!! Thanks for watching!! : )

  • Luv the video can I use it as a setting spray?

  • @senceremg Yes you may just make sure your replacing the mixture every 2 weeks to keep it fresh.

  • I have very oily skin. Can I still use the (GLYCERIN).Or if I do use glycerin, should I use the vegetable glycerin instead. How does it work to set the makeup, with people with oily skin.

  • ITS VEGETABLE GLYCERIN OKAY?

  • wow, i have that veg glycerin in my cabinet. i will be trying this.

  • do they crease

  • can u just dab a little glycerin on ur eye lids

  • @c8uy Hey there!! I wouldnt put the glycerin on the eyelid that would actually make putting your eye makeup on very difficult. I dont suggest putting the glycerin directly anywhere because I wouldnt want you getting irritated by it. Its actually used with the other ingredients as a spray. If you need a base for eyeshadow you would want to use something more creamy oe an actaul eye base. Hope this helps!!

  • i think that this is very good, where did u lran how to do that?

  • i think that this is very good, where did u lran how to do that?

  • i think that this is very good, where did u lran how to do that?

  • what did you use the alcohol for?

  • @Princesskri Hey love!! I just used it to sanitize the bottle and the spray pump that comes with it.

  • Hi! I found some in walmart but it's 99.5. Is that ok??

  • will glycerin oil work?

  • @dmirvin Hey hun I will hve to look into that because I dont want to suggest something that will break the skin out right now I will say to stick with just pure glycerine the one in the tutorial to be on the safe side Hope this helps!

  • Did you purchase the glycerin in the U.S.?

Cant seem to find it in store anywhere online...will be going out in person to check tomorrow

  • @CherishMe22 Yup my husband got it from Riteaid in the first aid section.

  • @MizMakeupManiac your welcome hun!!

  • great tutorial just the thing i need eyeshadows were looking a little dull

  • @rozzie10 Thankyou so glad I could help!!!

  • @MizMakeupManiac Hi sweetie, uuum as far as I know of yes we do because its the active ingredient is this formula but I can def research an see if we can use something else hope this helps!!!

  • What a difference a litttle Glycerine & water makes!!! Im on like my third bottle of Fix+ and it is super expensive.......Im on my way to Rite Aid to make my own......Thanks for the tutorial:)

  • @StarrQuality1 Yes mam!!! You are so welcome!! I had a bottle of Fix plus and was upset when it was gone because I was dreading paying the money for another bottle lol but now I CAN USE AS MUCH AS I want and not worry about the price!! Im just happy to help!!

  • so whats the dif btw pigments and eyeshadows?

  • @MSCLC06 Pigments are a loose powder that give you a high impact color & can be used wet(foiled look) or dry. While eyeshadows are potted and arent a loose power. Some eyeshadows can give a pretty good high impact color but you have to build them up using mixing mediums and eye primer (most of the time).

  • Thanks I've been looking for this

  • @Oralaige Your welcome Glad to help!! : )

  • wow the colors really did pop. can i use the fix plus in place of a base for my eye shadow? (u know i don't like a bunch of steps.lol)

  • @cartertmarie Unfortunately no you may not use the fix plus in place of the base. Because the base gives your eyeshadows and pigments something to cling to, to prevent creasing and fading throughout the day. Whereas Fix plus or mixing mediums are a liquid sprayed to the face or brush and can improve the shadow or pigment. It can also set your makeup but does not have a consistency to lay on the lid as a protective base.
