From what I recall reading some time ago, Linda had some kind of problem with her thyroid, which caused the weight gain. She also had surgery in 2004 for an undisclosed ailment. I haven't heard or read about any other major medical issues since then and hope she is doing okay and will be around for a long time to come. She remains a very beautiful woman in my eyes and always will. I'd like to see her record a new album but she is busy writing her auto-bio, which will be released in 2013

Sorry to see them replace the line "I felt like getting high" with "I felt like I could cry"- smells like a T.V. Network decision, but you never know- otherwise, a really beautiful (and beautifully moving) rendition.
