Guys, the thing is, OS doesn't do you any good if your subject is moving. You can have the best OS there is, you could be on a tripod, whatever, but if youre shooting action, OS isn't going to make the pictures sharper...also, I believe the non-OS version is more of a contender with Canon and nikon's models, the OS version seems to be noticeably less sharp...so is it really worth more money to you?

I have HSM2 and it is a greaaaaaaaaaaaaaat lens... the only issue that i found is that it can be soft wide open at 2.8 sometimes when i shoot large scene.. but if you use if for portrait it is pretty good at $700...

I thought I'd buy this lens but then I've decided I'd rather save the money for the used Nikon 70-200/f2.8 VR, which over here goes for about 1.5 times of the price of the new Sigma.
