Personally I didnt think there wouldnt be slaves in Islam too, however Compared to how Arabs treated Slaves at the time, the Islamic Way seems much more humane, more so than how westerners treated the Black slaves, which Christianity at the time justified, Churches were major owners of Slave Plantations. If the Islamic way was followed properly eventually every slave should end up free. Slavery is outlawed in Iran, so you can not use it against the IRI,

I dont doubt the Shah did love his people, but you seem to love him more than the people of Iran. A revolution will not 'fix' the country, if a revolution was possible any goverment would be a puppet goverment full of MEK, which even the Shah hated. I have studied OPEC and know the Shah was instrumental in starting it in 1960, I will watch your video in a bit. I find your support of Sanctions quite odd. if there was vote in Iran for and against sanctions I doubt they would vote for.

Slavery is not practiced in Iran, this has nothing to do with current debate.
Like you bravely said you supported the revolution which you now regret, personally I expected you to be one of the soliders kissing the feet of the Shah before he left.
I dont believe another revolution is a good thing, you regret your actions in 1979 so how do you know that your actions will not lead to another scenario you regret. I love Iran more than any goverment or Leader of Iran,

lol, like I said I wasnt even born, so I cant see how I am responsible for anything Iran has done. Iran needs to reform, how can you say another revolution is needed, I believe revolution is impossible and any revolution will result in the deaths of millions and people like the MEK trying taking power. Yes I do believe idea of owning somone in modern world is wrong. I know what you are going to say Slavery was permitted by Islam to some extent but banned by Cyrus.

I would like to see Iran reformed, I am not dening there are problems in Iran. Iran would be very different if Grand Ayatollah Hossein Ali Montazeri had successeded him khomeini. May I remind you The Shah was also not elected. There are no slaves in Iran. I said Iran needed reform But not revolution. I was born almost a decade after the revolution so played no part in it. The Coup was organised by the US after Mosaddeq nationalised Irans Oil. The mess is primarily down to the War and population. It took the UK and Europe decades to recover from WW2 and they required big loanes from the US. A revolution to install the Shahs son as a constitutional monarch would no solve Irans economic problems, it is also completely impossible.

No nation can develop without trade, it doesnt have to be with the US, most of Irans trade is with EU + China. The US is blocking trade with the EU. The US pushed Saddam to War with Iran. They have continously interfered in Iran. No Sanctions or foreign interference in Iran will cause another revolution. The people dont want another revolution and really it is impossible, they want reform. Threatening Iran is only empowering the hardliners.

I have looked at it, these are the sanctions that have stood since the creation of IRI, I am refering to the pressures put on non US companies and banks, please refer to the bbc article. Most of the economic problems in Iran stem from the War, massive population explosion if you are familar with the theory of comparative advantage you will understand trade is essential, the US is stopping this trade with the EU.

You present the Shah as democratic, when infact he was the downfall of democracey in Iran. What are you saying the was no Coup in 1953, the Shah just went on a Holiday. With regards to the constitution, I did say it concentrates power, 1953 showed it was difficult to operate a democracey in Iran because of foreign interferance. The Shah held absolute power and the US a lot of power over him. Ali Khamenei is a supreme Leader however he doesnt take orders from the West or East.

I have read the constitution, it is designed to stop any future revolution from external powers however does concentrate power.
I am aware of the Shahs goverment, Americans living in Iran had more rights than the people. The fact the Shah was reinstalled 1953 made in a puppet.

I have no problem with Iranians complaining about the IRI however generally they should only complain to other Iranians because no outsider can change Iran. The Wests enforcement of unjust sanctions and the threat of military action is what is hurting Iran and Strengthening the hardliners and making reform difficult, it is such issues that groups like NIAC should campaign on.

I have no problem with capital punishment for murder, rape, kidnapping, drug trafficking.Unfortunately the reform era in Iran has stalled however I would rather live under the Islamic republic were the nation of Iran is free than under the Shah who sold out to the US. It is hardly like he was democratic.
