@naroj10 Naroj - since our friend Israeli Patriot seems to be MIA, I can reply for you - the 'cabbage patch' helmet covers, as far as I know, were introduced after studies demonstrated that the outline of a helmet and head could be more easily targeted from a distance, such as by sniper fire. The rest of the body can be covered in camo or modified with twigs, leaves, etc. But the head was still easy to spot. These shapeless, free-moving covers make it much harder to see head shape at a distance.
