  • The music, though short and erratic, was as a whole a nice piece. I do disagree with some of the comments from before, it didn't sound completely random. I like the violin with the dark undertones. I do believe, however, that for it to evolve it needs to slow down and expand. The fast paced makes for an exciting thoughts, not exactly a lament. So maybe less like a lament and more like a confrontation.

  • I like it :)

  • The piano in this is great it's exactly like my playing style.

  • Some bits of this piece I liked, but as a whole I didn't like it. It just sounded like a mess of notes without any underlying structure.

  • @Chefodeath It was quite "improv-y" lol

  • @Chefodeath To you, its all toilet water sounds. to us, its a masterpiece.

  • Please tell me there's sheet music

  • Congratulations. You are the very first brony I respect for this. Very short but very sweet.

  • Okay now i NEED MORE OF THIS OKAY i Will turn into Hannibal lector if i don't get more oF THIS

  • @BlueBadazzeled Sorry bro ^^; this was thought up on the spot back in my jealous nutball days lol. If I every get super jealous of anyone again to the point of hatred I will write another for sure ^^. (That totally did not sound psycho lol...^^;)

  • @psychgoth ...Psycho.. you make fun saying you're psycho... Do you know what you are talking about? Psychopathy? Do you really know what is Psychopathy? It's a mental illness that you don't give a fuck about anyone but yourself and you hurt people around you, it also includes Pseudologia fantastica in which I hardly doubt you'll find it cool if you had it.

Listen. I don't want to give you a morale. But it kinda gets on my nerves that you think Psychopathy is cool. Because it's not. - _ -

  • @fable2omg Listen dude, I have no idea what makes you think you have the right to lecture me on ANYTHING. Let alone a psychological illness that 2 members of my family suffer variations from. I am well aware of what it is. I was using a bit of dark humor in that comment.

Urgh, it is too early in the morning to deal with your kind of people... What is your deal anyway?

  • @psychgoth My deal is that I'm pissed from dumb people thinking it's cool to be sick.

The kind of people who get psychologists just to tell it to their friends

The kind of people who think it's cool to kill people

The kind of people that likes to look weird/strange

I have all the rights to lecture a selfish dumb like you that thinks it's cool to be Psycho. You don't even know what the fuck it means.

I'm out of this world now anyway. Happy? I guess so fucking bitch I'm gone. Good night.

  • @fable2omg It is not cool to be sick like that and I did not say so. I am an educated 22 year old man, a great composer, and decent artist. A smart, beautiful(omg ego) talented individual. What are you? You are so wrong in approaching me this way. I think you're either a troll or an emo kid about to be a statistic. Have fun with whatever you do from this point on. But you will never see pity from me.

  • i think of Hannibal Lector in a classic chair

  • Is there any chance you'd be willing to post a link to the sheet music, for this? Or, a download link? It's very well written, and I'd like to learn how to play it, if possible. Thanks for reading.

  • @DeleriumHax I do have sheet music but no way to print it out professionally since I do not have a registered version of Sibelius. /=

  • Lament? Hm - the winners write the history books, and I'm not quite sure whether or not Celestia made her own modifications.

  • @MareInTheMoon I see what you did there... Though I don't think anyone got it, I agree with you entirely.

  • @TheLegendTamer I'm not quite sure myself what precisely it was she did there.

  • @UserWithoutAnyName In a nutshell, history books are biased.

  • @TheLegendTamer I know as much...I only wonder about the "I see what you did there", as it tends to refer to puns.

  • @UserWithoutAnyName Well who wrote the history books in MLP's universe? Considering Luna was on the moon got 1000 years it wasn't her, so the books are biased in favor of Celestia. That's what was being suggested XD, it's a joke.

  • @TheLegendTamer omgawd I never thought of that...dear sir, I think you changed my perception a little bit.

  • THE AMOUNT OF DISLIKES IS TOO DAMN HIGH!

  • This song is too damn short and too damn good! I would love for it to be longer!

  • *jaw drops* That was amazing! And it really suits her, too. =D

  • omg i freakin love this vid n in the pic i think luna should've been on top it seems more like hopeless and y- SHUT UP AND ENJOY ITTTT! XD

  • i almost cried <3

  • Woah............. woah

  • You, my fellow Brony, have made some amazing music. I just created a DJ P0N-3 page on Facebook, and I came across some of your dubstep (and I'm not the biggest fan of dubstep) tracks and fell in love.

Long story short, I love your music, and it inspires me to start making some of my own.

  • so beautiful! seriously a masterpiece. you beat bethoven! xD but srsly. you do.

  • Abssolutly fabulous!

  • :') beautiful

  • @venamek Thanks ^^ I'm glad you think so c:

  • This reminded me about Past Sins (obviously not luna, but Nyx) when nightmare moon locks her door and throws a fit.

  • @Overkillius lol cool, I in fact just finished that story yesterda er I mean this morning and I am so eager to see what comes next.

  • Well, I love Bach too. And it is the kind of music that seems to speak of Creation. Hmmm... Ah well. It's just a stylistic difference. I still like it just fine, and the more I listen to it the more I like it.

  • When I saw, "This song may get load" I turned up my head phones ALL THE WAY!

  • @TheShiroTagachi Lol, I hope I didn't disappoint. People usually do that for dubstep songs (I know I do xD)

  • @psychgoth Nah, didn't at all. It was load.

  • I hope you don't mind, but I put a link to this video in an explanation I typed up to someone about why it's worthwhile to watch this show. :)

Great stuff! It's a really moving song.

  • @RandomAccountName88 Why thank you! ^^ It means a lot for you to chose my song for such a task.

  • While it's not badly composed, I think for Luna the piece needs to feel more darker, more spacey to reflect the darkness of her imprisonment. Something deep and dark and epic. This feels more like a Victorian vampire's lament rather than that of a goddess trapped in a lifeless moon staring across the gulf of space.

  • @AJTalon Well that is purely a visionary style difference. I am heavily influenced by Baroque period music and Bach in general so I guess it shows in any classical style pieces I try and compose. The only way I could achieve spacey is to use something w/ a whole-tone scale but I kinda dislike that to be honest.

  • I liked it but it´s to short.

  • @ricardogriva Thanks, and yeah it was supposed to be kinda short. This piece was originally titled "jealously is magic" and once my crazy fit of anger an jealousy was over there was no more passion for the music. So I cut it right there.

  • @psychgoth you don´t need to focus in the luck or in the fans of other people. There are only two things you must take care in your life. The people who you love and your own future.

Sorry if I make a mistake in this commentary. I´m learning english.

  • @ricardogriva You´re good. Keep the work.

  • This is definitely when of the best ones yet..

  • @DarkraiDiety Well thank you c: The best one of what? My pieces or Luna's fan music in general?

  • @psychgoth Both..

  • O.o

This one needs more views. I loved it. Need more!!! Pwety pwease :)

  • Beautiful! To be honest I dont have much of a clue about the pictures that inspired this song, but none the less the music is simply beautiful! Amazing job.

  • @CommanderSazabi316 Why thank you! ^^

Oh the picture didn't inspire the music, I was actually angry that I wrote nice music and next to nobody hears it unlike very popular people within the community. I think that might've been borderline envy now that I think on it, but at least it helped me write a good tune! 8D

  • @psychgoth Well truly it is a beautiful tune, I love me any good classical music. You have great talent for composing music and equal talent for playing it. Magnificent job.

  • @CommanderSazabi316 Thank you kindly ^^ I'll take the compliment for composing music but I'm afraid I've never been much of a performer (lol that's what she said)

  • It's cool man, your music's been added to EqD's queue of updates, so it should get put up whenever it's scheduled to.

  • @Al3xxei Thanks! I don't know how or where to check it out on EqD though. /=

  • @psychgoth Here's your last piece on EqD htt p://ww w.equestriadaily.c om/2011/06/music-lunas-fury-dubstep-wwu-rock-cover.ht ml ~~ Pardon the spaces, I wasn't sure how Youtube handles links.

  • Bravo! Sounds great! I do so love the sound of some good diminished chords. :3

  • @megatfreak Lol thanks! Ironically, I don't know the technical aspects of Sus or Diminished or Augmented chords ^^; the whole sharp/ flat 6th thing confuses me. The only thing I knew from the get-go was that the sharp seventh made this song in G harmonic minor. ^^

  • @megatfreak I was also going for a Baroque sound but tried to do it without Harpsichords or Organ. That probably wasn't the most thought out idea lol.

  • @psychgoth

Well, when dealing with a minor key (specifically when dealing with harmonic minor), if you build a chord on the raised seventh you get a diminished chord. For example, say we're in the key of A minor. To get the harmonic minor out of it, we raise the G to G#. If you build a regular triad on top of the G# you get, G#-B-D (following the notes of the scale of course). This is a G#dim chord, and it gives you a depressed/angry/melancholy sound depending on how you use it. Con't.

  • @megatfreak

As far as the difference between major/minor and augmented/diminished chords go, it's kind of like taking a minor or major chord to the extreme. To get an augmented chord, you take the major chord and just raise the fifth (G-B-D would become G-B-D#, thus G augmented). To get a diminshed chord you just take the minor chord and lower the fifth (G-Bb-D would become G-Bb-Db, Gdim), or take the major chord and lower both the 3rd and 5th (G-B-D becomes G-Bb-Db).

    See? :)

  • @megatfreak lol it's funny how I know this when I see myself playing on a keyboard but it's technical names and aspects slip my mind ^^;. I think I need to pay more attention next time in Theory. Did you know, 3 years ago I dropped out of theory class? xD It was too hard at the time. Well, and you had a bunch of corequisits that didn't help too.

  • @psychgoth

Some people just grasp a subject better one way than another. I'm sort of the opposite of you in that respect I suppose. I can rattle off all the technical names and definitions all day long, but put me in front of a keyboard and I slow way down. I can still work it out, it just takes about 5x longer.

  • @megatfreak Lol well at least whatever we do, it works right? lol I need to brush up on my technical terms more though. I think it's just the aug and dim chords that I get confused. Also, learning about all the modes is a pain too.

  • @psychgoth

    I (ionian)

    Don't (dorian)

    Play (phrygian)

    Like (lydian)

    My (mixolydian)

    Aunt (aeolian)

    Lola (locrian)

    That's how I remember it.

  • @megatfreak yay! a PEMDAS for music! x3 lol

  • @psychgoth

    Actually it works quite well.
