Personally, I see the glorious church being the assembly ( in Hebrew: Kehilat) of the children of Israel and God's children grafted in. This assembly can exist only in the New Jerusalem because only there the Kehilat can be Holy.
Also, the bodies of His children will be glorious.
I believe I was taken out of this world as I knew it. I only wanted to know Him, Yahshua, Abba,Father. I became afflicted in 2000,and it humbled me,because of my pain,but it also was glorious in that I began to see the world for what it is. it has taken years to receive this understanding. I have no body,so I am very grateful to find your wonderful study and undertanding.God bless you for sharing with us.
Like your definition of church. I am thinking of the Kingdom Now folks who think that by their little efforts of mapping, and by their prophets and apostles that they are going to usher in the Second coming, doing away with the rapture. They have cast off their Scriptural moorings and are out to sea floating on their little islands of glory .
Yes, it is not by our efforts but by His plan written from the foundation of the earth!

We will all do well to consider these words you share with a mature understanding of the nature of 'ecclessia' being entirely of God and not of man, this one true church is fostered and equipt with the Holy Spirit. We would be wise to discern that any human strategies of "church" growth are universally imbued with worldly vanities built upon a flimsy foundation. charlie
