I wonder why they didn't keep the ending animations in for the PS3 version of Outrun Online Arcade? Potentially Sega could've made the XB360 and PS3 versions of Outrun Online Arcade the best ever, with all the courses, music and cars from Coast 2 Coast, the Scud Race and Daytona 2 bonus stages from the original Xbox version (and the cosmetic/gameplay improvements those bonuses got in the Jap version) and included some easter eggs, like bonus AM2/AM3 music. Such a shame they didn't....
Got my PS2 with network adapter, Seagate 80gb HDD plugged in, Japanese Outrun loaded, Driving Force Pro - all a few days ago - BUT, it's still hard as hell to control hehe. How long did it take you to get used to it?
That breaks your PS2 if you don't do it right I know because my friend did it and he can't play any game on his PS2 that's why he has a PS3 and PSP now
PSP is probably the hardest version, since it's the most difficult to control. I'd recommend using the d-pad. Beyond that, the strategies aren't all that different from the arcade. Use manual gear drifting for best results, and don't bother with the shortcuts in Casino Town and Milky Way, since it almost always results in a wreck on the PSP.
I THOUGHT I recognized your name on the PSP scores on Outrun. Anyways, I'm from the bemani community and I'm trying to get into this game, right now I only have the PSP version. Any tips/unusual info?
BTW, this version doesn't come in the OR 2006 and I didn't know there was a Outrun 2SP on PS2, so this is a huge surprise to me! I so want this track!
Which car is that ? And, is it tuned or untuned ?
