@cimadgaline satellites arent typically circular (or spherical whatever the original shape is) and they always reflect a red light as the solar panels reflect the suns light. Satellites are also usually fixed on the earth's position, so they move with the earth and appear still to us. When we look up in the sky, sattelites look like distant shimmering stars, you wouldnt see the actualy outline of the machine.
