The boats motion needs to be controlled by lines run to cleats. A person can't check the momentum of a 2 ton boat unassisted. 3.) Every person involved here should have been wearing life jackets and hardhats 4.) Use a sea painter. My experience, I launch and recover 2-4 4 ton boats almost every single day.

It is NOT illegal to kill whales for food. Japan is not part of the whaling treaty and whale if they want to. I am not arguing if it is moral or not, but they are not breaking any laws. Besides, eating whale is no different than eating any other animal. So long as it is done in a sustainable manner and harvesting species which are not endangered.

Plus eating minke whales is different from eating other animals because they arent killing them in a sustainable way and they are endangered. This has nothing to do with it but i thought id might mention it, dogs aren't endangered and could be used for food but i among a lot of other people simply wouldn't eat it.
