In response to your first comment I'd like to say that putting the clips together had nothing to do with "emoness" at all or "valuing experiences too highly" but simply making a video inspired by the style of film that andy warhol would make with his factory friends, and these were my art friends, MY "factory friends."

I think people who are attributing the word "emo" to this video, or anything else in the world, might be wrong. I think what's going on with this video and the 'emo' scene in general is that people value their own experiences a little too highly. That type of mindset will produce clichéd, common, mediocre stuff like this. So, to be a little less objective: This video is fucking terrible. So are the scene kids in this video.

this is a great song and if youve experienced a really bad burnout you can appreciate the video even more, i admit ive gotten very leary of the "emo""" scene, it has gotten overcommercialized as hell i used to play acoustic grunge and what has now become "emo" in the late 90's and it pisses me off to see true art, and genuine shit be discarded outright because some jackass with an MBA saw a trend he could make money off of..exellent song, like the old Pumkins it can get you through rough times

All good music is essentially emotional, whether the emotion is happiness, sadness, anger or whatever. To me, listening to music is about the emotions. Thinking about it this way has given me a much broader taste in music and understanding of other people's tastes :)
