The game was great fun, until people realized that they leveled faster solo. As its the nice people that you play with that keep anyone in these sorts of games, this was its major failing.
Also simple things such as world pvp were totally missed out on, guilds could have been fighting for control of bases buried around the maps that granted buffs/items/currency.
i was in the beta testing of the game..my god i loved it.. only reason i never played it was my computer died on me and was not able to get it fixed to after the server went down. i even pre ordered it and still got it..lol never even got to play it. would be sweet if it ever got picked up and re made a a free to play or hell just got picked up and upgraded some ether way was a great game.
GameBot, a hardware-based type bot, doesn't make any trace on the game server unlike the other software-based program that you can easily download on the internet. so,NEVER worry about the delete of your account!
Good news I have found a person trying to create a private server. He is a wase into the development and is looking for people to help in his indevers. if you all want to play this again and wold like to offer your support please let me know and i will pass on the link to his website. The more people that offer there support the more drive and support to get this back up and running. I know i will be right there beside you all wen its back up and running. #1 thing i can see right away that would put me off playing this if i could have. Stray fire and explosions.
You run in front of someone shoot a weapon. You get shot.
You get caught in an explosion. You get ragdolled or splattered.
Yes this would make PVP possible. But if almost everything from guns to armor were equal like real life. You would also think twice from a few shots to your toon...is it worth it? XD
I wish they'd bring this back. The only thing bad about Tabula Rasa was Shield Drones' damage reflection and...not much else, really. This game had so much promise. If only they'd fixed bugs reported since beta... There were quite a few skill bugs and the sapper/engineer pet ai was crap. Still, it could have been the best, and I still consider it one of the greatest / most promising games I have ever played in my lifetime.
If Mr Garrot decides to try to ressurect Tabula Rasa in the way it was supposed to be without NCSofts constant funding cutbacks (thus delaying/Cancle projected projects that was to supposed to happen in game) I beleve truely vast majority of its former players will rejoin the fight, provided the Bane decided to blow up earth this time entirely, and come back with a whole new army, new worlds to attack and defend, and more options in terms of RP (Im a Soul of a Soldier postee)

NCSoft could reopen TR and finance the game proper. I guess their hatred towards Richard Fail Garriot is so high they wont do it. Hopefully they can get pass it because TR has lots of potentiel and still has.
i remember hearing about this game on some E3 coverage a long time ago when it was still in development, thinking thats probably gonna be a badass game. i ended up never hearing anything more about it really and everyonce in a while looked around trying to find it but never did. after seeing videos like these i'm mad i missed out on such a great game.

I'm not into PvP myself so I was pretty happy with the game even in Beta but it got better as time went on. I only wish they had more super rares that were awesome like Big Bertha Chaingun (25% Chance of Crit) and stuff like that. Played from Beta to Closing, never stopped and never wanted it to stop.
Better to have joined us late than never. I can only feel sorry for those that can now only know of Tabula Rasa thro. these vids. and wonder at the pure awesome that was the game and its comunity.

This was such an exciting game with so much potential for future patches to include new planets.
It was everything they advertised it to be. We could only be so lucky as to have another mmo/fps live up to this one.
All of the battles were full of energy. I don't know why they decided to shut it down and not simply stick with it and advertise it a bit more.

Bei den organisierten Events gabs leider immer lag. aber was solls, ich würd auch gern wieder spielen :D

Its sad really... The game was a blast to play but the Lack of PvP at launch and the steep 15 a month fee made me drop.
