  • Has to be my favorite Moody Blues song.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG they were so out there man

  • tingles up my spine!

  • Not their best effort -

  • jesus, we had FUN, thanks for posting

  • This song makes me feel so happy. It's lovely to hear it again, my friend!

  • Deep and full of thought!!! always sends that long forgotten vibe of something else when I feel as a bouncing balloon in are plastic world of shallowness!!!! THANK YOU MY FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I know when a song is good.It gives me goose bumps.

  • I will never get tired of listening to this!! Long live the Moody Blues!!!

  • Still no dislikes. Awesome!

  • @DeadTorrential Hey! Don`t jinx it! ;)

  • It's nice to see that SO MANY different people in DIFFERENT generations can truly appreciate the Moody Blues. Only a handul of other bands have such an effect: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who....(feel free to add to this list.)

  • @78mathman Neil Diamond

  • Neil Diamond

  • @78mathman Pretty much all classic rock actually. A lot of it is being revived!

  • my family loves the moody blues so much i was NAMED after them

    middle name is blue

  • this song... this band.. they burned an impression into my brain as a boy. it is impossible to explain the memories this song brings up. wow. amazing. awesome!

  • another great ole hippie song.

  • ELO is NOT and should not be mentioned in the same breath as the Moodies and Pink Floyd. ELO was a bunch of lightweights compared to the artistic lyrical content associated with MB and Pink Floyd songs. Back in the day, I never got the love for ELO, and as expected, they have faded away into zero legacy. Individual members had some success, but the bank itself, not much. There isn't exactly a clamor for an ELO reunion.

  • Lovely to hear this again my friend

  • With Floyd and ELO, the three greatest "head" bands of all time. They TM'ed and =got= it. If only we could have got it =from= them. But, as is the case with any form of spirituality, one has to do the original deal to get the original results. The priests, bibles, poems and records are just journalistic reports, after all.

  • @naughtmoses However, there have been come excellent journalistic reports aside from the clutter of historical yellow journalism!!

  • Moody Blues are Poets AND Musicians...they were WAY ahead of implications of technology with this song

  • Moody Blues are Poets AND Musicians

  • Pretty hard to beat these guys.

  • This was the first time I had heard this since I was 17, way back in 1982, playing my Mom's album. Hearing it again made me miss her so much! Thank you for putting it on here!!!

  • cat wiped

  • feels good!

  • Hayward and Lodge are the next best songwriting team to Lennon and McCartney..I always thought that..In fact, I pretty much think it's about an even match..The Moody Blues and The Beatles were both great bands..They both put out some GREAT music that will always be remembered

  • eternity's soundtrack..........................

  • No dislikes.

  • They don't make 'em like they used to . . .

  • there you go man . . .

keep as cool as you can . . .

face piles of trials with smiles . . .

it riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave . . .

and keep on thinking free . . . lines like this and many other moody blues tunes helped me make it through my adolescent years . . . this is music I will pass on to my children to help them face their "piles of trials with smiles"

  • Love this song, Love The Moodies, Love Justin!! This song is so beautiful. The Moodies are a truly phenomenal band of all time!! Thier music is full of real emotion and deep feeling!! Very poetic!! This takes me back to such a wonderful time in my life. Miss those days but The Moodies always bring me right back !! Their music is pure magic for the soul and they have truly touched so many souls through the years. They have so impacted my life. The Moodies forever my friends!! ♥

  • Thanks moodies!

  • Ist time I ever heard the Moodies , this cut early in the 70s

  • This is my childhood fantastic song

  • The memories this song bring back are unreal.

  • 1st concert i ever saw 1972

  • bloody brilliant.

  • Truly classic album.

  • Face piles of trials with smiles...

  • karen carpentyer

  • Remembering tripping with this album, and especially with this song during the 1970s. Smooooooth!

  • Great song Absolutely prime music of my youth Thank you

  • Moodies rock. Only one band comes before, The Beatles but only because they were............ Moodies were more spacey in a lot of ways. I thought they were aliens lol.............

  • Are the Moody Blues the most underrated band in HISTORY, or what?

  • Yes, and the R&R hall of fame suck dick. The Moodies are the best most creative band next to the Beatles. Best thing about them is where the Beatles gave up live performances the Moodies just made them even better................

  • @conmaesta Yes the Moodys made you feel the music and the lyrics as the Beatles did As Lplanding says, they may be the most underrated of the legendary groups The Hall Of Fame should be a given!! I called once and talked to the secretary[far as I got] . She couldn't believe they weren't in the hall ... Who sits on that board????

  • @conmaesta very true. The R and R hall is just a fucking sick joke in Cleveland, of all godforsaken places. Hayward and Lodge ARE the next best thing to Lennon and Mcartney. Good observation.

  • Moody Blues- used to be really moody, one of the band members left I believe because they were too deep (don't quote me on it.) BUT I"VE SEEN THEM 13 TIMES....and well here's to 13 MORE!!!

  • they used to call them angel rock........

  • @wolfdavid1 this is "flowing" rock and roll...it has an edge, but a smoothness. Take it from an old hippie.

And they're still going after 40 years.

    There is a god.

  • ~ Even the score with your eyes...

  • When ever I hear this song it brings tears too my eyes, My older bro favorite song! RIP Garry

  • RIP Jay

  • Wow....first time i heard this version.

This is the acid rock of me oncle lol

  • Excellent sound quality! Thank you so much! :)

  • After all these years it is still a magnificent album

  • Excellent song going a long way back!

    Thanks !

  • Loved these guys since 1972. Never tire of their music. Once-in-a-lifetime music.

  • @Gruntol5 you can't, and you shouldn't. the music is incredibly vital at age 57.

    wow.

  • @3Rubee I can't and shouldn't what?

  • Sorry...I just meant that WE can't and shouldn't forget this spectacular music...it will always flow through our veins.

    peace.
