Darryl "Max Pain" Peterson as Man Mountain Rock vs David "Gangrel" Heath as the Black Phantom. Wikipedia lists twenty, ten each, gimmics between these two wrestlers.
This is absolutely embarrassing... What a stupid gimmick. I like how his shredding doesn't match up to any of the actual notes you can hear. And love the fact that this piece of shit theme was reused for Droz.
@RyanPelley1 I agree the theme sucks, but from what I can see his fingers match up fine with the notes he's playing. He wasn't doing anything extravagant over those simple blues rock lines. I also watched another match he had with Bob cook, and you could see his fingers better, and he was actually playing it...but still him playing it or not doesn't excuse the suck of the theme.
At the beginning, it just looks like his fingers are staying on the same frets and he's strumming, as various notes are being played. Just my opinion. But yeah, I'll check the other match out... Even if it means hearing this shit again : /
@RyanPelley1 That's because the riff that he is doing only requires his pinky to be moving around. For the most part his index and ring finger are sitting in a power chord position, and the rest of the movement is done with his pinky. It's pretty standard for a basic blues riff. In reality it does sound like more than what it looks like, but it's not really that much being done. But yeah check out the other match, the song sucks worse on that one.
LOL yeah, he's definitely playing in the other one. Sounds like they're playing his theme over the speakers in the background, while he tears off a few of his own notes.
@NeptuneNetwork I didn't know he was a thief. From what I heard, he was fired for taping conversations from other Superstars, the Kliq paid him back for shitting in his bag. But what did the book say about him being a thief?
Black Phantom was actually Gangrel under a mask by the way

@TheBC313 Well that's why I assumed it was him because he's been there forever. Really? Who is Bill Dunn?? Thanks though. :)

I had this match on tape back then, I remember Lawler drawing rabbit ears on him like it happened yesterday. Thanks for uploading.

@EricV1 I don't own the book, but from what I remember he was caught rifling through other roster members bags and pretty much fired on the spot.
