@mrblueskyaccount Because the people at your school have different interests and tastes, which makes them post their "I'm only (age) and I like this (magic trick/poem recital/burger/misc. topic)" under YouTube videos you do not watch, because you're writing your "I'm only (age) etc ..." comments under Bowie videos that they do not watch. There's no point in trying to extract appreciation from others due to hobbies and/or age.

So what if you like *insert artist name here* and you're *insert age here* years old? These kids think they're special or something. Another issue that bothers me is the deal with the Bieber kid. Why do peole speak of him negatively all the time? He's just a kid singer who has a hot as fuck girlfriend, anyone would be envious.

@Eddiethenotsogreat Another boring trend is the "THIS IS REAL MUSIC"-comment where all the fans of a particular music video congregate in exalted comments and eventually end up furiously slashing Britney or Bieber or some other main stream pop artist as if that's the only way of becoming even more of a fan of the (somewhat) niche artists they're celebrating. Look up the comments for PJ Harvey videos. It never fails.

@SmoothJazzApprClinic Agreed. If you want to further witness this pathetic trend, go to any "metal" video. The same rule applies. The videos are rampant with unfounded criticism and lashings against pop music in general, or other "mainstream" metal bands. They seek to exalt their own laughably narrow taste in music to divine heights. Sometimes, I don't know whether to retch or laugh or feel pity.

Genius music like this will never be forgotten, unlike rubbish produced today. Being a 14 year old it may sound weird, but I'm no different, just have a good taste in music and a bit of common sense. I love love love this video, David is amazing, beautiful, unique, life changing and ultimately, my idol. I would love to see you tour some day, would make my life. So much love.
