I'm a 15-yr old girl, almost 16. I'm considering joining the National Guard. But I do NOT have JROTC in my high school. I don't have a military family, or military friends. I don't live on or near a military base.

@3cheers4Ger i dont think you shouldn't be in the military, thats because i know that no women should be serving, if a guy sees a girl's organs blown out of her body then its much harder than seeing another guy that way

if your gonna go into the armed services. It is BEST to go through ROTC and not join the marines or what not b/c you bebefit greatly from it compared to joining the marines or air force

I wouldn't suggest the army. If you do, there is 90% change you will be sent to Iraq, right now atleast. But if you joining in like a 2 years, then Maybe.
