You're right. Amaterasu is named after the Goddess of the Sun but that doesn't mean it's as hot as the sun. It's just an ordinary flame like any other fire jutsu (attack), but what makes Amaterasu special is that it doesn't extinguish before 7 days and 7 nights no matter what you do (unless the user extinguishes it himself).

If that's true, Karin (the girl here) would instantly burn to ashes, as well as all the trees Itachi amaterasu'd during the Itachi vs Sasuke fight. But I'm sure the trees were burning for more than a minute.

Also, wiki's are always fanmade so they might be wrong too. As far as I know amaterasu isn't as hot as the sun, atleast they've never stated that in the anime.

-Amaterasu will burn through anything on its path, so how can the water didn't get burn, hot, or even vaporize?

-Amaterasu is most noticeable because NOTHING can't extinguish it. Even if Sasuke warped it away, mind that he never got or learned this ability from Itachi.

Killer Bee pretended to get captured by letting Sasuke take one of his clones, while he slipped away underwater when he was being burned by the Amaterasu. Basically Killer Bee got bored and decided to wander off, Sasuke would've been beat easily by Bee if he could be bothered to fight from the start. Tho Now Sasuke has the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan by taking his brothers eyes, it would be different.
