  • Fuckin mint. Easy as.

  • I requested this recently on the local college station. The DJ got all happy.

  • not good quality though

  • Plastic fits Fay best,...

  • Heard these guys back in the late 70's which led to 999, Slaughter and the Dogs and the Buzzcocks. All my college buds that were into Rush, Nugent and BOC thought I had lost my mind. Still an aging punker.

  • I love Fay's Wilma Flinstone outfit! Excellent footstomping song.

  • I didn't know Conan O'Brien used to be in a band!

  • ~Wow, this still sounds good! I remember this clip, I watched it in a pub called the North British Hotel! I bought the record & drove my parents mad with it!

  • The late 70s were a great time to be a music fan in Edinburgh, especially if you were a Rezillos fan. I even got to snog Fay in Bruces Recors Shop on Princes Street..

  • i like the man or astro man cover better

  • Brilliant track :-)

  • love this one too

  • Punk Betty Rubble

  • @swans1997 Wilma Flintstone perhaps ??

  • @nobbilc Either or, I was thinking of Betty because of the dark hair, where Wilma's is red.

  • @swans1997 right...thgt it was wilma cos o the orange spotted dress..no matter

  • @nobbilc right, no matter, we were on the same track. that dress is a dead giveaway, ha ha.

  • this takes me back to my teens. Faye always looks very sexy i used to have fantasies about her . that costume as well whenever i see the flinstones an image of Faye pops into my mind. they should have been bigger with the right backing

  • Conan O'Brien looks so young in this! that yellow suit and brown hair look great too.

  • One of the greatest tunes ever.

  • Edinburgh rocks! Weird that one of those people went on an joined Human League.

  • @haj1909 Jo callis in the kilt, joined the human league, and wrote the dare album and made them an international act.he must be well rich now.don't you want me was Virgins first No 1.

  • no its not,i still got the vinyl original album

  • Rezillos brilliance \m/

One of my all time fave bands

  • didn't "man or astroman?" cover this tune?

  • Yup!

  • Brilliant song, brilliant band - and so, so much better live than you could imagine. Mentalists the lot of them. Still my favourite band of the time.

  • they are amazing live! too bad they won't tour the states!

  • @gregrocks90046 mostly because musicians need to shell out £1000 for a visa to tour there.

  • @pmphineas Are they all mentalist magicians. How strange. ?!

  • @norrisonthespot Your point is...?

  • scotlands 2nd best punk band after the skids the exploited dont count their pish

  • That takes me back! Wonderful!

  • Dude, where's my hover car? You promised

  • 1978, TOTPS

  • Yes, this number is from their 1978 classic album - "Can't stand the Rezillos"!

  • This is not only my favorite Rezillos song, and one of my favorite songs period...

THIS IS AN AMAZING LIVE VERSION! IT WAS NOT JUST LIMITED TO THE STUDIO!

And I love the group finger wiggles during the 'whop-whop-whop-wha-oooooh' ^_^

  • @Krakshot So did I. Unfortunately, the twat of a cameraman focused on the singer

  • I'm also from the states; one of the best bands there is.

Few Bands nowadays rock out like the Rezillos did/do

  • Are you kidding me? I listened to this bands CD in my hummvee in Iraq all the time. These guys are the coolest punk band to come from over seas since the Pistols. I only hope that i get to see them live before i die!!

  • cool i listen to them i my h2 in coventy england!

uk punk rocks - no one does a kick ass suv like the states though ..

  • YES!!!! I love The Rezillos, I think Im one of the few in the states that does though, too bad.

  • @jesuskhrist

No, I've been a huge fan of them for the longest time and I'm a NYer

  • @jesuskhrist Stateside dont get them, thats all, just like Slade back in the day, they never got it.. missed out on some killer tunes too.. than heavens for utube!

  • @jesuskhrist you're not the only one.

  • It looks like they shot the lead singer(Fay Fife) out of a cannon before the performance. Wow what energy. Thumbs up to You Tube for finally getting these clips shown in the U.S.A. Thumbs down to the whole U.S. music scene circa 1978 for playing disco over punk/new wave. So I am both thrilled and pissed it took so long at the same time.

  • What a great live band....Barberellas! What a night. Any one got the last gig on nEws Yaers Eve in 78 or 79?

  • i love the rezillos but has anyone noticed that eugene looks like conan obrien in this clip especiallyw it the flapping hair

  • I was JUST going to mention that Conan O'Brien thing! Weirdness.

  • So cool ! But what's the picture of Rod Stewart got to do with anything XD

  • its 1980's top of the pops -

rod was the previous act on the show!

  • More Rezillos anyone? Amazing bass player.

  • Great stuff! Rezillos forever!

  • Makes a bad day good....Xlent

  • Exellent,what more can I say

  • Conan O'Brien is a god!!!!HAHAHAHA!!!!I don't know why i said that...

  • i just love how they stop playing their instruments, huddle together and sing "oooooooooh bop bop bop a ooooooooooooooh", and the producers of the show clearly don't want to cut to that, lol

  • Simon Templar kicks butt.

  • Absolutely fcuking superb. Please keep uploading Rezillos vids. God Bless you Fay Fife!

  • Thanks for that!

  • AMAZING!!!
