Hey, I am a computer engineer and I have found this video and the old cartoon one quite hilarious. But It is not just Dell's Tech support that blows: All of them do, usually a Mac does not crash quite as easily, so I will not put Apple in the same league. It is quite true that getting your computer fixed if it um, bites the big-one. Oh... FYI, do not buy that stupid third party warranty contract that they try to push customers into buying. It almost doubles the price of the machine.

And even if you intended the dancing to bad, it isn't justified. The dancing is bad. I doubt your reasons for doing so, but even if I agreed with them, the end product is still pretty poor.

Since the actors contributed to this project, they are fair game for criticism and compliments. I found no compliments for the girl, so I left criticism.

The video was an exercise in speed editing. So yes, from a "professional" standpoint, more time was needed. For a fun project, I maintain that it is fairly good, particularly compared to most YouTube content. And some people have enjoyed it.

Well, you're welcome to your own opinion, but some of your criticism is not justified. The dancing quality is on purpose (by the director's choice) as you wouldn't expect a furious individual to dance well. And the lip-syncing has nothing to do with the actor. That is all done in post production. I was a bit rushed in the editing so the lip syncing is a bit off in many places. I just got tired of moving the audio one frame at a time to determine its best placement.

Also, all shots planning, prop placement, costuming, and shooting (~30min of footage) was done in under six hours. Editing took ~4.5 hours. As the video's creator I will say that the video basically lives up to my expectations, though some aspect could be improved. If you don't like the video, that's fine. I can live with that. But don't attack the individuals actors, particularly for things that are not their fault. If you have constructive criticism, that is welcome.

Actually, there was a window. It just wasn't visible on screen. We refused to actually install AIM on machine in question, and GAIM wouldn't have had quite the same effect. Thus the typing was done into a word processor whose window was offscreen. The camera angle could probably have been picked better, but what's done is done.
