  • song...?

  • @MrAlexprettyman The music is BRAVE FOOT SOLDIERS

  • @waynez12 wat state do they reenact in thanks

  • @armystrong9998 Where from the United Kingdom

  • @waynez12 You live in fairytale. Do NOT EXIST brave foot soldiers. Only mercenaries that will do anything for money. If you are Idealist, just wait when BRAVE FOOT soldiers go to kill all that are against NEW DEMOCRATIC ORDER. Just remember what your local police do. More than "catch robbers" their role is much more. To kill or neutralize all that want changes.

  • Hoorah to the Big Red One the oldest serving military in the US Army god bless and R.I..P "Broooklyn" u will be missed u were one hell of a funny guy

  • @knightace2002 from cod 2?

  • @armystrong9998 nope CoD: Big Red One

  • @knightace2002 thats wat i ment lol

  • what kind of rifles do you use when you reenact, airsoft?

  • @TheTacobellstaff It's either that, or they were firing blanks in their rifles. I don't think an airsoft rifle would make a muzzle flash like that

  • @TheTacobellstaff Hi all our weapons are either real rifles that have been deactivated or section one rifles firing blanks. At show we hire section 5 weapons which are fully working.

  • @waynez12 k how do you know when you are hit, do you guys rehearse or something?

  • i spotted something wrong........ the marine corp are the only ones at that time who wore tan boot covers. the army wore olive drab.

  • @djAk720 Hello, If you are referring to LEGGINGS, CANVAS, M-1938, DISMOUNTED. The lighter shade of Olive drab was very much still in use in 1944. The darker OD only started to be made in 1942 and the army would use up the old ones before the newer colour started to apprear. take a look at this picture ww.flickr.com/photos/photosnormandie/3103753163/

  • @djAk720 yeah the companies that the US Army contracted to make webgear started changing to OD#7 in mid-1942 but if you look at original OD# 7 webgear some still have an OD# 3 trim. (I have an original m1928 Haversack that is a prime example) these OD# 3 leggings are perfectly fine for the normandy invasion or even early 1945.

  • the flamethrower versions were M1, M1-1, M2, and M2-2 there was no M1A1 flamethrower

  • @legolover0121

i THINK YOU NEED TO CHECK THAT STATEMENT

  • @waynez12 sorry i was thinking about the pacific theater

  • @waynez12 i'm pretty sure he's right 'cept for the double numbers (M2-2, M1-1) and the M1A1 think he's thinking of the heavy tank used today

  • very nice video

  • Comment removed

  • OURS IS THE M1A1 Flamethrower

M1 weighed 72 lb, had a range of 15 meters, and had a fuel tank capacity of 5 gallons. The improved M1A1 weighed less at 65 lb, had a much longer range of 45 meters, had the same fuel tank capacity, and fired thickened fuel (napalm).

  • @waynez12 FYI napalm is gelled gas not just thickened no offense or anything

  • those flame throwers wern't used during wwII

  • @Soupa000 The M1a1 Thrower was indeed used during ww2 by amercain forces in Europe

  • @waynez12 oh well the ones that my grandpa used had the trigger in the front and not the cylender thing at the bodome. but he was in the pacific.

  • @Soupa000 YES THAT WAS THE The Flamethrower, Portable, M2-2

Empty weight: 43 pounds Filled weight: 68 pounds Fuel capacity: 4 gallons Range: 20-40 yards Fuel type: Gasoline Propellant: Nitrogen

    Burn time: 10-20 seconds

  • @waynez12 o well i was wrong but still great video XD

  • @waynez12 they wer M2's not M1's

  • @waynez12 they wer M2's not M1's and they would not carry their guns in plastic bags

  • @cabooseisepic1 I suggest you do your homework before making any more comments.

The use of the filofilm Rifle bags which can be seen in may of the photos taken on landcraft during d-day

  • @waynez12 I suggest the people who really understood these battles, didn't end up playing them like children.

  • @cabooseisepic1 You wanna keep sand out of your gun so it works properly right? Thought so...get off youtube and so some research...

  • but it is a good song

  • @5hiThAppEnS2 yes its what the allied soldiers that stormed normandy on d-day wore.

  • @5hiThAppEnS2 I think these are men portraying 1st ID. I am not sure if they are supposed to be Rangers or not.

  • @5hiThAppEnS2 Those are probably respirators for gas ?

  • @5hiThAppEnS2 its a m5 assualt gasmask its rubberized

  • @5hiThAppEnS2 its a gas mask smartass

  • @5hiThAppEnS2 its a gas mask smart

  • @5hiThAppEnS2 Gas Mask bags.

  • @5hiThAppEnS2 Gas Mask bags, my man.

  • @5hiThAppEnS2 they are gas masks, well, intially the bags. but thy went around the neck like so. but most of the time they werent needed bc hitler was gased during WWI, and he new the dangers and how it worked, so he did not use it. therefore, once allies hit landings and such, most ditched their mask and kept the bag bc they thought it was a need thing to carry stuff, with it being waterproof and such. hope this helped :)

  • 1:30 and 1:35 Grease gun and flame thrower awsome!!!

  • @treyjordon sorry but it is us made. its an advancement of the tommy gun. sorry

  • i know the british came up with the thompson but who came up with the flame thrower and the greaser

  • The American General John T Thompson invented the Thompson, the British had nothing to do with it.

The M3 Grease Gun was also an All American, it was a cheaper alternative to the Thompson SMG The Flamethrower was used by Germany and the US we had the M2A1 Flamethrower, the krauts had the Flammenwerfer 35 used mainly during Blitzkrieg.

America also exported flamethrowers to England, Russia, and Australia under lend lease, not to mention the Thompson SMG and countless other hardware.

  • y are u saying this?

  • yes they were

  • umm what? All of those weapons were used by the U.S.A. during ww2

  • then were did it come from?

  • The m3 wasnt the idea of americans it was an answer to the german MP40.

  • The Big Red One.

  • cool

  • nice video and when i was in the 4 grade i went to the omaha beach where the big red 1 landed and i got to walk on the sand and go on the cliffs
