It is very important that when a soul passes, it does so in peace. We can't even begin to say that we have all the answers, but I believe each one passes with the belief's it held in life. Animals need you with them. I would never leave one of mine to pass alone, or even one hit by a car. All creatures are important.
Adults who desert their pets when it's time for euthanase are heartless cowards. Ask them if they wd like their children to desert them in their final hours & see what sort of response you get! If you genuinely love yr pets you will be with them to comfort them as they take their last breath. I have owned & cared for many dogs in my life & have stood by all of them to the last. NEVER, never desert the ones you truly love in time of distress. I don't think I need to explain why.
