  • Jenson, find my website and write through that if you want - my email is there! All I'll say here is that no support is bad technique. If the conductor doesn't like your singing, then don't do the concert -simple! You always sing with your sound, not someone else's or a manufactured, generic sound.

  • I'd be more concerned about the dress she had on in the middle of November in Dresden :)

  • She doesn't sound Wagnerian to me. She is just someone who knows how to use her whole body to sing, and not just her mouth :) She also sounds as if she believes in the words - the translation of the Latin words I am sure you all know but to remind you is: She beheld her tender Child, Saw Him hang in desolation, Till His spirit forth He sent. You can't sing about losing your son through execution with no emotion!!

  • @UnaBarry I find it interesting that you say she knows how to use her whole body to sing.I am currently trying to change to this technique after years of no support but only using space in my mouth to create sound.I am finding this confusing as i am now due to sing Stabat Mater next week and the director does not like the full body sound i am now trying and wants me to sing it with a much more stylistic approach...Confused.com!

  • c'est pas Wagner, ma petite Anna.. je suis vraiment désolé pour toi!

  • it shouldn't sound like Wagner, Netrebko!

  • Not the best of her, but she showed emotions in her singing, and I really respect that.

  • мегаклассно!!!
