  • Will volt be available in Taiwan?

I think it is a great solution than conventional hybrid vehicles!

  • I agree that the Volt's pretty expensive at this time... but as long as the Volts keep flying off their shelves as fast as GM can build them, why should they lower the price?

  • Why does it look like a Prius and some other toyota car together?

  • Nice car

  • Are you kidding me? How many cadalliacs, bmws, mercades do you seee on the road not to mention nice trucks are about 40g so I think you might want to rethink ur comment.

  • @diecastcarcollecte I would rather get a 20,000 car then a 40,000

  • did the tech taking the tire pressure gives us the F U fist? @1:11

  • No 1 has the money to buy a 40,000 car. So how we gonna buy a this car?

  • @3319Adrian Alot of people have 40,000 to spend on a car, what the hell are you taking about.

  • @3319Adrian

You get a Fed discount so its more like 32K .. and if you complain about that, Toyota Prius got a similar discount.

As for electricity from coal plants - Power plants are much MUCH more efficient at creating electricity than a combustion engine is at producing energy. So depends how you use your car and if you have a garage. If daily commuter with a garage, then you're gonna be paying about 1/5 or 1/6 your yearly $ allowance of gas.

  • Not sure if any of you know this, but GM is working very hard to bring down the Volt's price. On the other hand, I don't want to see quality drop for the sake of price. Sadly this country has turned into a Walmart-nation where quality can take a back seat for price. EVERYONE wants to save money, but at the cost of quality?

GM and Chevy are amazing manufactures and make fun cars like the vette, camaro, CTS-V, Cruze and the Volt--to name a few. Go GM and Chevy, and go all US manufactures! ^_^

  • @Jeredin13 by making it a fire death trap

  • @Jeredin13 Well Spoken my friend...Go GM!!

  • @BumbleBeeGS yeah if you want an S to go as far as the volts total mileage you need to spend about 80 grand. I do love that S though. Hey watch this.. watch?v=CQ6VdjosUrI&feature=channel_video_ your gonna freak.

  • @BumbleBeeGS Even the first VCR's were about 900 dollars. I remember when I couldn't buy one. But as time goes bye and manufacturing processes streamline more and more, prices come down. Remember the first digital camera and how bad it's photos were and how much they wanted for it! Just let time do it's thing.

  • @BumbleBeeGS yes they have sold 5

  • so this car is $40+ grand and youre basically saying its better than a diesel because it gets better fuel milage and is more eco friendly. but a golf diesel will go 50-60mpg easily and this wont even do 40! a golf diesel is 25G while this is over 40!! A toyota prius is proven to create more environmental damage than a Range Rover so since the Volts bigger batteries mean it would probably do worse than 20 Range Rovers Put together!!! electric cars arent the future am i the only one seeing this?

  • @gadgetguy4000 but in the long term you would use way less fossil fuels then a diesel

  • @pit95tav if you treat the volt as a pure electric car not using its gasoline engine you will use more than a diesel but if you use youre engine to charge up the battery instead of plugging it in your right!

  • @pit95tav Wrong.. the coal power used to recharge a VOLT is actually worse for the environment than the gas used to power a Prius. So if you do decide to use less of wall charge and more charge using the gasoline engine, you're then getting less mpg than a diesel. therefor, you're wrong, you are using more fossil fuels.

  • @CenasChainGang619 No coal for electricity where I'm at. So many other available sources to create electricity now. That argument is slowly day by day, dying away. Not to mention it takes less electricity to charge the volt than it does to dry clothes in an electric dryer.

  • @CenasChainGang619 Here is the best description of how to expect these electric cars to pay off for everyone, even non owners of electric cars, volt or otherwise...

    watch?v=pSdnycHfLnQ

  • I would recommend a REAL gas powered car and you can keep the heat on what you want not have to suffer with only what you can stand. These "eco" cars need to be better than a REAL car or no one will ever buy them. Why buy this over priced POS when a small gas or diesel car is so much better and cheaper to own and operate.

  • @Driverforhire How in the world did you come to the conclusion you can't keep the heat on all you want in the Volt? I blast mine all I want, without a care in the world, what Volt did you buy that can't do this? LOL

  • i just want to DRIVE and not WORRY ABOUT HOW I AM DRIVING THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
