  • Where are my glasses?

    Just kiding, awesome job. Congratulations.

  • Due to the great responce to the work I'm doing with the smallest fastest I will be releasing the next flying film soon and also have started filming the first how to vid that shows the basic build and how to go about making your own.

PS. Next vid features the test platform for my spy stealth jet/plane that will carry a key chain cammera when it arrives. Also a new smallest fastest build only 3.90 inches long and weight of 6.8 grames will also be featured its more motor than plane a must see.

  • How come you can fly this extremely small and light planes in such high winds?

    How do they do it?

See other youtube entitled MicroRacers Mexicobeach HD, its amazing! The chance to fly micro planes in high winds is great, as its always windy where I live...

  • To make a jet/plane that can cope in wind it must be designed with minamal drag eg. my new desigs have a knife edge leading edge and any drag is at the back of the jet/plane to keep it straight. also stableisers at the wing tips help alot.

Sofar I have flown in wind so strong after crashing I had to chase my plane across the feild as it just blew away in the wind it was 25-30 kmh winds that day.

    Thanks for watching .

  • Hello I have plans to go even faster when some more parts arrive and also doing speed testing to find out how fast it is.

  • Nice! Didn't know Plantraco gear could fly that fast! Please post plans and build log on rcgroups.

    Thanks.

  • Thanks for watching

    Plans maybe on the way

I will let everyone know were and when in the next video out soon !

  • very very cool =D how do i get started do i just go to a hobby shop and look for parts or....

  • Hello

To get started look up the name

( Plantraco ) online they sell everything require for more information please read the information text for this vid.

    Thanks for watching more soon.

  • @AVAMagneticlev ok thanks :D i look forward to making and flying lots of them soon

    are you adam?

    im nathans son =) i

    found you by accident =P

  • Hello thanks for watching

    Adam I am

I hope you have as much fun as I have had building and flying.

As much work as I have done so far there is still a long list of jets/planes and UFO builds I would like to try using Plantraco

And also belive I have only just started on the smallest fastest I think myself or any one keen to have a try my be able to go even faster in this size.

    Adam VA

  • thanks for the tip adam, please when you have time make another vid of these planes their awesome. thanks again

  • The next vid is not far away

  • Hey Adam did you put a little carbon rod under the wings on the white and grey Delta to make the plane stiff ?

  • Hello thanks for watching

No rods required but I do have slight V angle that runs half way down the length and also two slight angles at the back half on each side of the up and down flap aliron I think thats what its called.

Anyway these slight angles are strenghtend with tape on one side. They also help with the plane be ridged and stable at speed in wind.

  • Building and flying for only 7 months, your freakun joking aren't you!!

That is some brilliant flying mate!!

I fly taipans and thats not easy at 10% of your flight speed.

    All the best!!!

  • Very nice.......I have 6th grade kids that i teach on a after school program that love making rc planes you think you can do a tutorial on making the simple delta planes you made and what size foam you used, if it was 2mm or 3mm and what kind of Z bends you used or did you make your own? A close up tutorial would be nice. Loved the Gray and white one....pretty fast liitle buggers. The flying was unbelievable, good control when you had it in the air i was very impressed.

  • very nice 5*

  • Cool video! I don't know how you can see those little planes flying at that speed. I have trouble keeping orientation with some of the smaller park jets, lol!

  • Thanks for watching

Don't worry I have lost orentation doing high speed stuff combinding with rolls.

Have desrtroyed some jets but each new build gets better, faster and more stable

I have only been flying and building for 7 months and one day will step up to Brushless but will still keep it small and fast. If I can Make 15 grams of thrust this fast and stable Brushless may be extremly fast with this kind of jet.

Then I may have lots of orentation problems at speed and distance.

  • Funny story flying yesterday 10/5/10 and looked away to make a joke to someone

and when I looked back I could see no jet only hear it so after looking for 5 seconds I cut power and ditched it looking at ground level for the hit.

Spotted it no worrys and found it with no dammage and battery still connected.

    Took off from crash site.

  • Those are some very small very fast little planes!! I don't know how you don't lose orientation at those speeds and distances. I sometimes have problems with seeing just some of the smaller park jet sized planes, lol!! Great video and awesome flying!!

  • As you could see the camera person had some trouble getting good clear shots.

    due to size and speed.

PS When I step up to brushless I will have to watch more of your builds to learn to make a more bullet proof jet due to the much higher impact speeds I'm expecting to have.

  • Great video.

Where can I buy such a kit ?

Can you put the link into the info box please ?

How is the RC receiver put onto the plane and

how is it all fixed, so the plane can be controlled ?

Do they use mobile phone motors at this size ?

Or what motors do they use ?

    Many thanks.

    Regards, Stefan.

  • Hello thank for watching.

I have put more info in the side bar

the company I get all the parts from is called.

    ( Plantraco Microflight ) online

The reciver is mounted to a foam mounting pad with dubble sided tape and the pad is then glued in place.

Yes the motor is the same as what is used in mobile phones and small toys But the reciver can take any 3.7 volt DC motor that draws less than 2 amps under full load.

PS Its great fun to build and fly with Plantraco Microflight

  • work out the weight of a micro camera and then sell the rights to the local government.

  • Hello found a cammera in 1 months time footage will be provided.

I can't wait to do the filming as have done the weight loading tests and jet carried it no worrys.
