The fans of killswitch engage bitching about jesse or howard should check these guys out. I did like jesse with the old killswitch but when I came across this newer band I appreciated this guy even more. Both vocalists do an outstanding job.
i'm not trying to start a genre war, but, i dunno, this would be more like new-age right? or new-age metal? ether way, the message is amazing and jesse's voice is pretty epic.

@metalbone Dutkiewicz has been quoted saying, and is on their myspace/facebook "an epic mix of Metal/Rock/Pop/Shoe gaze & Punk". ha, death metal it is not, in any way have to do with gothic aspects. "new-age" is a spiritual movement, been around for quite awhile, but "the spirit" in the title staples that notion along with the lyrics.(thats all i'll say further, peace)

I love this album its just as good as killswitch album but me personally i love the lyrics and how most are positive or christian related and the guitar work just makes the feelings so vibrant and full of life

from my understanding he became a dad and chose to go home. I give him major props, did the right thing and then came back. I personally think this is a waaaaay better fit for him. Jesse's raw, and his writing is much better utilized with Times of Grace.

They put it out there, and fans don't question them because they love the band so much... so they accept everything they create, promote, and speak of without really going deep into the intensions behind the bands' creations. All that occult symbolism goes into your subconcious, unquestioned by your natural defense mechanism. You let it pass through because you "trust" the band. Now, I'm not making accusations. I could be way off, but there seems to be too much going on here to be coincidental.
I only watched one of Born Of Osiris' videos here, and it was all about NWO! Towards the end, they say "just prepare for the worst"... as if to suggest we shouldn't fight back, and let the NWO have their way. Jesse speaks of "Fallen Angels" on HOABM when singing about "blinded eyes", as if Horus, or rather, Lucifer. The artwork on ALL of these bands covers and posters is LOADED with occultic symbolism, yet they never speak about the meaning behind it. That's how New Age programming always works.
@TheCowardSlayer but, to pose a fan-based answer for you, I think you're just reading into it a bit much. The tour itself is Illuminato(u)r, which, while they're part of, they're not the headline. Underoath is the headliners, and as far as Horus being depicted in KsE album art, it'd be hard to disguise Horus for someone else. While similarities are there, if one is to assume every person with a missing eye to be portrayed as Horus, it's like saying everyone with a burka on is a terrorist.
@mestedcky "Underoath" itself references occultism. Freemasons for example, are "under oath". Reportedly, one of Underoath's members left the band due to the band becoming to influenced by the Illuminati's program. Other bands on the tour have similar ties. Stray From The Path is on Sumerian Records. Sumerian? Why? The logo is a sphinx and pyramids! Why? Other bands on Sumerian records have names like Veil of Maya, and Born of Osiris! There's way to many connections for it to be coincidental.
More questions: Why does the Illuminatour poster have an all seeing eye on it? The two eagles? The compass at the bottom which is reminiscent of the Freemasons?
And much more highly occultic imagery. I'm starting to worry about his band now. I would hate to find out that these guys who I thought were taking a stand against evil and really siding with it, clandestinely. Please straighten this out with me! I don't want to lose respect for this band, especially Jesse whom I've always respected.
It's not really his life that is displayed, but the corruption and bad stuff he see's in the world. If you guys read the thanks in the booklet of the cd, it says "Jesse Thanks Yeshua, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah for all the signs and wonders you have allowed me to experience and witness in my life. Same thing with the "As Daylight Days" cover... a skull with one eye "Illuminated" by what seems to be a sun, with the left eye missing... it all comes across as being highly occult-oriented. I mean, the music sounds great, the lyrics are very inspirational... but I'm wondering, could this all be some New Age/Luciferian programming (like Zeitgeist) desgined to trick us into a NWO under the guise of unity and love? @TheCowardSlayer Dude this album is like every good aspect from all of KSE's albums, Daylight dies is my favorite. Not so sure about it being cultist, but it definetly is the most unifying shit i've listened to since the last KSE album. This band is a blessing.

I only worry that this all is being done to lure the righteous hearts into a trap... considering that the messages are almost always blended with occult symbolism... I just hope that Jesse, Adam, and their friends in all of their associated bands are not playing the role of "friendly" controlled opposition plants.

"As Daylight Dies" through the self-titled were good, but they weren't KsE good. Get my meaning? IMO, ToG's creativity far exceeds anything that KsE has released in a long time. You misunderstood me. I meant that KsE shouldn't have allowed Jesse to leave. Since he had too, they should have put the band on hold until he returned. But, that's just me.

Especially since Killswitch Engage has changed quite a bit, and well they aren't as cool as they used to be. Personally I'm not a big fan of their new stuff. I like the album Alive or just breathing and the albums before it. So it's good to listen to that, plus the new sound of Times Of Grace. Hoping that Killswitch comes up with some new epic stuff though.

@Slipstream720 Actually it was because he was depressed cause of the touring and he missed his wife cause he was recently marriede before the tour and he started to strain his voice and struggle in shows so he decided to leave to help himself and not drag down the band because of him.
I just keep listening to this album over and over! I cant get enough of it. Very rarely does an album this good come along! Please do a show in LA or Riverside!

I read an article the other day talking about Jessie giving a few pounds to a homeless woman in need. He hugged her and she confessed she hasn't been hugged in at least a year. He asked her to promise him she'd buy groceries and not drugs. I guess a few days later he saw her walking with a bag full of food. Its his life that is displayed in his music, not the other way around I think. Thanks Jessie and Adam for making some honest music.

More questions: Why does the Illuminatour poster have an all seeing eye on it? The two eagles? The compass at the bottom which is reminiscent of the Freemasons?
And much more highly occultic imagery. I'm starting to worry about his band now. I would hate to find out that these guys who I thought were taking a stand against evil and really siding with it, clandestinely. Please straighten this out with me! I don't want to lose respect for this band, especially Jesse whom I've always respected.

It's not really his life that is displayed, but the corruption and bad stuff he see's in the world. If you guys read the thanks in the booklet of the cd, it says "Jesse Thanks Yeshua, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah for all the signs and wonders you have allowed me to experience and witness in my life. (the Lion of the Tribe of Judah is talking about Jesus)

Same thing with the "As Daylight Days" cover... a skull with one eye "Illuminated" by what seems to be a sun, with the left eye missing... it all comes across as being highly occult-oriented. I mean, the music sounds great, the lyrics are very inspirational... but I'm wondering, could this all be some New Age/Luciferian programming (like Zeitgeist) desgined to trick us into a NWO under the guise of unity and love? Please answer, Adam or Jesse. Thanks.

@TheCowardSlayer Dude this album is like every good aspect from all of KSE's albums, Daylight dies is my favorite. Not so sure about it being cultist, but it definetly is the most unifying shit i've listened to since the last KSE album. This band is a blessing.

@DukeNukenum Yes, I know, the lyrics are very positive, and I like that, it's very refreshing. I only worry that this all is being done to lure the righteous hearts into a trap... considering that the messages are almost always blended with occult symbolism... I just hope that Jesse, Adam, and their friends in all of their associated bands are not playing the role of "friendly" controlled opposition plants.
Believe me, I truly wish that righteousness is at the heart of this music.

Same thing with The Empire Shall Fall album... people usually don't get to take such a strong stand like that and get away with it unless they're controlled opposition... it makes me worry. That album pushes very "new-agey" ideas as well...

I have a question for Jesse and/or Adam that I hope they can answer.
Why is the tour called "Illuminatour"? Have you guys sold out to the Pyramid cult or are you just taking their word and applying righteousness to it, as a way of taking it away from them? Also, why on both the self-titled Killswitch album on Ferret records, as well as Alive or Just Breathing is there a person with a missing eye (as if Horus)? The recent Killswitch art as well seems very demonic (skulls, stars)... explain?

@Neroin1210 I will stay metal 'til the day I die. I'm not hating on KsE, I just think that they have gone down hill since "Alive or Just Breathing". "As Daylight Dies" through the self-titled were good, but they weren't KsE good. Get my meaning? IMO, ToG's creativity far exceeds anything that KsE has released in a long time. You misunderstood me. I meant that KsE shouldn't have allowed Jesse to leave. Since he had too, they should have put the band on hold until he returned. But, that's just me.

@Neroin1210 The statement that a world with both Killswitch and Times Of Grace is better than just Killswitch is a great way to put it. Especially since Killswitch Engage has changed quite a bit, and well they aren't as cool as they used to be. Personally I'm not a big fan of their new stuff. I like the album Alive or just breathing and the albums before it. So it's good to listen to that, plus the new sound of Times Of Grace. Hoping that Killswitch comes up with some new epic stuff though.

You believe that Noah got two of each of the animals into a single wooden boat and then distributed them around the world according to a specific plan (Kangaroos in Australia, Emperor penguins in Antarctica, Polar Bears at the North Pole.)? I'm fairly sure that we couldn't accomplish that today, even with a fleet of aircraft carriers, given the vast number of different animals and the particular places that they are found.

@1134hell A perfect message, by definition, is not capable of being distorted. Perfect means without flaw. If a message can be misunderstood or confused, it's not a "perfect" message. You see, an omnipotent and omniscient god would know any mistakes we mere humans would make, and account for them. If god had meant 'Noah's backyard was flooded' he would have crafted a message so perfect that we could never have mistakenly confused it for 'the world was flooded'.

@Slipstream720 Actually it was because he was depressed cause of the touring and he missed his wife cause he was recently marriede before the tour and he started to strain his voice and struggle in shows so he decided to leave to help himself and not drag down the band because of him.

I read an article the other day talking about Jessie giving a few pounds to a homeless woman in need. He hugged her and she confessed she hasn't been hugged in at least a year. He asked her to promise him she'd buy groceries and not drugs. I guess a few days later he saw her walking with a bag full of food. Its his life that is displayed in his music, not the other way around I think. Thanks Jessie and Adam for making some honest music.

@seperatness That's amazing, really, being a drug user myself, I got nothing against them, not saying you do, but if you let your life get into the state of homless-ness or similar situations, I'd know there's something wrong and couldn't accept money off people if I were only to spend it on drugs again. i was hearing this passing a streetwalk and then suddenly i was hitten by the car, ive been in hospital for a few days, and when i turned on my ipod the song was stopped on the lyrics: ' will you save me?' and i was saved, i'm thankful to the god in his wisdom that he saved me !! and thank you adam for this great song!
