  • God gives us the grace to live but the Spirit he gives is the power.. The Spirit enables us to overcome the sins of the flesh, by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. Grace is that it's free and undeserved. When we yeild our spirit to Gods Spirit within us, then He is working it out. We are only yeilded. Gods will is done in us. Yielding to Gods Will and allowing or working with Him is the key. Everything is by the grace of God because we are brought into relationship through the work of Christ

  • He talks like he commits no sin, and all Christians do, let's face it, we're all against sin but still do it, and at times want to do it! I would be a liar if I said otherwise. This message does not bring me closer to God or let me know I'm forgiven by love, we all came to Christ because we're jacked up, and He's gonna change His mind about me because He hates me messing up?! What a shallow God then He must be, wake up and stop looking at others besides urself! U truly know NOTHING about Grace!

  • @Jheemusic, don't think ur reading the same Bible.

  • Why did you needed to put the preaching in pieces, it makes it hard to understand, because you don't hear the full explanation of the verses(what is important). You could just have put the full preaching instead of one that is cut in pieces with dramatic music to make your point in stead of the point of his preaching clearer. Bless

  • I wonder if he preached this to his pastor Benny Hinn? Hypocrite!

  • @Zionfreak Its a great message but he doesnt preach like this when he goes to hillsong they love Joseph Prince and his version of Grace is the complete opposite his. When he goes to hillsong he preaches a 'how to be a better you' self empowerment message.

  • I'm actually a little confused in a sence. It's not that I disagree with what he's saying in that sence because I completly agree and know fully what he's talking about. But I was just wondering possibly what year this particular video was filmed because just a year and half ago he just visited a certain community-oriented seeker-sensitive entertainment-driven purpose-driven megachurch and yet spent a good amount of time just gushing forth flattery towards the pastor of this particular church

  • Grace of God has been misunderstood that's true! it is visible in any churches and many pastors fall into it. i agree with the word "don't tell me your save if your practicing sin" because the disciples always reminding us live like how Jesus our Savior LivedTempted but did not sin 1John press on to us that we are God's Children and because of our faith to Jesus we are born not to be of God. Christians should not continue sinning but continue release ourselves from human nature which is sinning.

  • Love your God with all your heart, your mind and your soul, is to Listen and apply the word and share it to others and that is freedom, Love your neighbor as yourself, means if we do love everyone around us, we need to love the Word of Him too. we are sealed by the Holy spirit of God when we received Christ, God's Plan has never been a plan of men, Go yeah and preach the Gospel that is command, not to criticize others. instead of saying negative, just pray that everyone will speak the truth!

  • Hey Brothers, word of truth is not be judge by men, but try to understand it. God use everyone to deliver the Truth He use anyone He wants to, as long as you are a Born again Christian there should be no criticism about the word of God.. no men can oppose what God wants you to share when you are lead by His own Spirit. cause God leads beyond our comprehension., as a mature follower of Christ, accept the Truth and learn from one another and empower each one. :)

    follower of Christ

  • In Mat 5 Sermon on the Mount. Jesus is not adding to the Law of Moses, He's explaining it. To commit adultery, you have to think of it first, so its in your mind/heart. Jesus also does it in Mark 10, about divorce. The Pharisees said, Moses said we just need to give her a written notice. Jesus said, Moses said that because of the hardness of your heart. So Jesus is not adding but, explaing. Moses new grace was coming, hence Mt Transfiguration.

  • Sadly, the above message does not represent the true-Grace messages as found in the Word of God. The above preacher makes the same mistake like many other preachers when it comes to the true Grace of God for Christian living as his message turns to works orientiation and self performance in regards to Christian Living. BTW, in the Word of God we also find Phil. 2:13 and Phil. 1:6 ... it's always GOD Who does anything in and through us, ... the focus must be on Jesus Christ and not self.

  • @scherfcom Think He means that works aren't the root giving us salvation, but its the fruit . God's grace makes us want to serve Him. Think John's fear is people using Grace as a license to sin. Grace is empowerment to do what is right. Watch it again. Many cults or christain-esc cults promotes works for you to be saved, that is not what John Bevere is saying. The law still exists for without it I won't know how sinfull I am and it points me to my Saviour. Im saved and then I want to please Him

  • @tarantulanipple Yeah, I understand and I get your point, and appreciate you comment. And yes, John may believe in salvation by Grace, but the problem is the "usual" problem which you also identified that he has a "fear" that people misuse the Grace of God as a license to sin and live irresponsible lives and turn the Grace of God e.g. into lasciviousness, etc. Romans 6 teaches us the proper use of Grace. Here's my message: "Christ must be our Focus" (Dietmar Scherf - GIADONI) here on YouTube.

  • Great

  • Grace is Jesus dying on the cross for us as we are all SINNERS. The earth is seen as a testing ground for us, Gods children. The bible says nothing about the prosperity of a Christian. In fact, as christians, be prepared for the worst, more suffering is yet to come. more condemnation from the world we live in. ITS the DEATH of JESUS christ that we love God so much, he removed our guilt and shame. We are not God, we dont know his will. OUR ONLY PURPOSE-spread the gospel NOT PROSPERITY

  • I am seeing a misconception of what works are within these comments. Hebrews 13:20-21 tells us that He equips us to do His will, that He works in us to make us pleasing to Him. And Ephesians 2:10 tells us simply that we are HIS workmanship (not our own) but HIS and that the good works are prepared for us in advance.

There is nothing for us to boast of, there is nothing we can do that is pleasing except to endure. Even the good works that we do is Him working and not truly us.

  • You know, I have read all comments on here and one thing that saddens me is this. Regardless of what you believe or know. I am no theologian. I do not have the understanding to rightly divide the Word of truth. What I do know, is that Jesus has used this man's preaching to get me to cry out for a deeper and more intimate relationship with Him, surely that should be the point of ALL preaching? What is all the sniping, back-biting and general nonsense like that about? Peace to ALL!

  • @danJAHrous I agree because God has used this man My Husband and I are so hungry for God! this man is definately anointed.

  • Grace is not something one earns or deserves nor is it from within oneself nor is it something that one has any control over. In ourselves we are not important. We are beneficiaries. Grace is freely given. So the other thing we can do is remember not to claim credit for it. To live a spiritual life is essentially to do things 'for the love of it'. Gods grace covers all.

  • @holyanointedONE I understand what your saying about people continuing to act according to who they USED to be. BUT the question is HOW do we WALK IN THE SPIRIT. The answer to not acting like who we were is not to adhere to the law BUT to depend on the SPIRIT. The Corinthian believers were doing terrible things that were not fruits of the spirit BUT what did Paul call them. A NEW CREATION, the OLD HAS PASSED.(2 Corin 5:17) The old that he was referring to was there old adamic nature.

  • @Creation182 Romans 6:5-8

New International Version (NIV) 5 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. 6 For we know that OUR OLD SELF WAS CRUCIFIED with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin— 7 because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.

  • @holyanointedONE hi holyanointed. When giving to others and loving others it IS because of his spirit in us. Any fruit that is produced comes from his spirit, The commandments do not give us the power to manifest any fruits of the spirit. (Gal 5:22-23,Romans 3:20,Gal 2:21,. When I say commandments I am speaking of the law of Moses. Jesus instructed us to love one another which fufills the law anyway.

  • @holyanointedONE @holyanointedONE No one is saved by keeping the law cause no one can keep it. Don't be a hypocrite. I know, God knows, that you don't observe the entire law. Have you ever read the Bible? The section of the Bible that applies to gentiles? Jesus did not come for the gentiles. He came for the house of Israel. So a lot of what you quote is error. That age is over. It ended when they stoned Stephen. The world is now in an age of grace, whereby men are saved by grace through faith.

  • @gore53 "If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness, he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain." ~ 1 Timothy 3:6-5

  • (cont) So if you don't like that or it doesn't agree you I suggest you tell God He's wrong. He's the One who gave this revelation to the Apostle Paul. Anyone who continues in an effort to be justified by observing the law is cursed. You're essentially saying that Jesus didn't have to pay for your sins cause you can handle that yourself. It's called 'self-righteousness.' It's Pharisaical. Jesus hated the Pharisees, and in fact those are the folks He will tell to depart from Him.

  • @gore53 aren't all the verses in the videos were referred to the bible?

  • @holyanointedONE No No No! The real question is are you in faith that Jesus paid the price for your, mine, and the sins of the world from past, present and until the end of this age. Christ within you, the hope of glory. Christ within you—without Him, you will become trapped in legalism and rule keeping. His final prayer for BELIEVERS...

I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. Now rest in Him and quit working. It is finished.

  • @holyanointedONE I'm not in violation of God's law because I'm not under law. Saved by faith, is what I am. And praise God for that. By your reasoning, the thief on the cross next to Jesus was damned. After all, the thief didn't have a chance to repent of his sins. The thief merely acknowledged that Jesus was the Messiah. Something the really goody-goody Pharisees in their pride were unable to do. It's all faith. No works. OK? I've gone as far as I can with you. Please seek someone who can help.

  • @holyanointedONE Jesus took ALL the sins of the entire world into his body. And he TOOK AWAY the SINS OF THE ENTIRE WORLD. So it is finished. BUT he has given us a NEW LIFE so that we can ACT like the HOLY people he has made us. Grace gives us the power to say no to all ungodliness and passions of this world

  • @Creation182 Has He really given you the grace and power to live a perfect life? Think about it. If that were so, you'd know all things, never suffer sickness, never physically die. The Apostle Paul would have had his thorn removed. I'd go back to the Bible and read what it clearly says. Your Spirit is saved upon faith, through grace, and this is from God. The other stuff in this life is going to be a struggle, and we fail often. To deny this makes Christians appear hypocritical. They are.

  • @gore53 Gore, hi there no we will not always act perfectly. I will come back and respond more thoroughly later...

  • @holyanointedONE Yes, we are his workmanship, created IN CHRIST JESUS unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Being created IN Christ Jesus means that we have become a NEW CREATION. Once we accept the gospel, we are no longer in Adam we are now something entirely different.

  • @holyanointedONE Hi, holy anointed. The murderer, rapist, gunshooter and theif can receive the grace of God. Jesus said " On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

    Romans 4:5

    New International Version (NIV)

5 However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who JUSTIFIES THE UNGODLY , their faith is credited as righteousness.

  • We did not learn Christ to act like the old man. We are now made new. So rejoice and LIVE AS CHILDREN OF THE LIGHT, because YOU HAVE BEEN MADE LIGHT IN THE LORD!!!

  • Heb 10:10 For God's will was for us to be made HOLY by the SACRIFICE of the BODY OF JESUS CHRIST, ONCE FOR ALL TIME.

    Corinthians 6:11

    New International Version (NIV)

11 And that is what some of you were. But you WERE WASHED, you WERE SANCTIFIED , you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

So now that we have been washed and sanctified. ACT like who you truly are. A child of God that has been made the righteousness of God in Christ.

  • @holyanointedONE "shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." So tell me, is the law fulfilled? And who fulfilled it? Here's a hint: IT'S NOT YOU. Salvation is by grace, through faith, and this is not of ourselves lest any man boast. When I read things about how great John Bevere is because he overcame lust I want to puke. The only One who overcame anything and fulfilled the law is Jesus Christ. Ride on that and not your inability to be justified by law. It ain't gonna happen.

  • @holyanointedONE Correction: Not once did I mention that you or anyone else could do the acts that you mentioned. You said that. By the way, since you're on this big repenting holier than thou kick. Have you done ALL THE LAW. I'm speaking of the 10 and 600 plus in Mosaic Law. Remember now, if you fail to do one you're GUILTY of all of them. Good luck on that. You'll need it. (Now respond and tell me about grace. Gee, how convenient for you. No wonder Christians are thought to be hypocrites.)

  • There is a great falling away today.Yea hath God said.Whatsoever whatsoever whatsoever a man soweth that shall eh also reap.Go pray and read all the do not be deceived parts of the new testament you might be shocked at what HE shows you

  • John even looks like a lawyer.

  • This message is: doubt, worry and fear. How good does one have to be not to lose the free gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone? Was I as good enough today as I was yesterday. I hope so. Yesterday I was good. "What do you mean by good. Good isn't enough. You need to be Holy (piously bow head). God demands self examination and perfection? (Tremble in fear) "Depart from me for I never knew you," What? Does God forget? anti-Christ preaching in the slickest form. End times are here

  • Become sober and depressed all ye who enter here. What we have here is a goat. This man was an apprentice under Benny Hinn (whose unfulfilled prophecies are well documented). If you are a young Christian, I beg of you to read and stay in the Word of God. Once you accepted God's free gift, Why do you run hither and yon in search of thrills, experiences of others, warnings on how God is going to take back His gift (God is not a man that He should lie). What part of "IT IS FINISHED" eludes you?

  • Very powerful truth ! What was the music that was playing in the background?

  • What was the music playing in the background? It was very powerful, so was the content of the message. AMEN!

  • What was the music that played in the background? It was very powerful...

  • this is anticchrist teaching to the full extent....this man has had no revealtion of the Grace of God and should not be preaching...he is putting the burden of the law around thousands of people.....

  • @Thedawnmarie777 So I'm interesed in your interpretation of the scripture he provided then.

  • @Thedawnmarie777 Thank-you! If I wasn't looking for Jesus and yet was found by Him, What in heaven's name would make me think I could take over and help Him get me home? It's easy to skip around and create a new and different Gospel than the one that was given by revelation to St. Paul. Present day Saints are the Body of Christ. We're not going to live in the tribulation, we are not the Church in the Wilderness, we're not among the lukewarm at Laodiciea. Stay with what's written for you, a Saint

  • We ARE under Grace! For the law was sent as a schoolteacher to show us that NO ONE could fulfill the law in their own power, so ALL come short of the glory of God. Grace is given to empower us, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, to overcome our flesh, our sin. Praise be to God for His Mercy and His Grace, that He saved a sinner such as me!

  • So much about the standard Jesus set now that we are under grace. We need to cut off our hands also according to this kind of word Good luck I hope this works for you

  • @ChristsSindicate That was a metaphor, cutting ones hands off...

  • (Matthew 7:21-22-23) Not everyone who says to Me, Lord! Lord! shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven.

(Mat 7:22) Many will say to Me in that day, Lord! Lord! Did we not prophesy in Your name, and through Your name throw out demons, and through Your name do many wonderful works?

(Mat 7:23) And then I will say to them I never knew you! Depart from Me, those working lawlessness!

  • Comment removed

  • @ROGER459 He never knew them because they didn't do the will of the Father. They didn't believe Him for salvation. They were self-righteous. Can't you hear it? Didn't we do this and didn't we do that in that your name? Yes, in name and deeds perhaps, but it's evident by their speech they thought pretty highly of themselves. I pray you get the meaning of this and trust in His sufficiency. Let Him be Savior, that's your part, your obedience. Don't fear Bevere or anyone who tells you differently

  • @gore53 Satan speaks through you.

  • @PropheticVindicator Thanks for the judgment, but as crushing as this may be, you're not God.

  • God only gets a remnant. People that think this message is death should examine themselves. People that dont close the door and pray wont even live. God is waiting there in the secret place like he always is.

  • wow if you were looking for hope better not come here. This is not good news

  • @ChristsSindicate hahah (although it's really no laughing matter): People chasing after other people, excited over someone's thrilling tales of the afterlife, and worse still -- being conned by one who claims we can add something to what God has completed. Why won't people humbly accept His dying words on the Cross. "It Is Finished." Matthew 7 is aimed precisely at they who refuse to accept the gift which was freely given. Self examination? Oh really? Judge not, not even yourself.

  • poker plum: without Holy Spirit , u cant believe the word of GOD,. because u speak of yourself, im not putting u down but who has Holy Spirit will look at your comment and think o how foolish and how sad, pray for that person, on your side, your looking at it without Holy Spirit, so what you see is foolish to you! u have to see the difference! but bro all I can say to you is plant a seed, someday might bring fruit, as with GOD all things are possible, GOD LOVES YOU AND HAS A PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE!

  • Awesome Preaching..Truth!!!

  • I am shocked to hear a pastor who understands something of what Paul is talking about.

  • Thank you Lord for the life of this humble servant of yours... Thank you for your grace. I know that even if I do my best, I wouldn't come up in your standard of holiness. but still, I want to pursue holiness and don't want to intentionally commit sin. Strengthen me oh Lord that I may continue my journey in this path of a holy walk of faith. I really love the passage on Matt. 3:8 saying that we should show our repentance through our actions. It reminds me to be true in asking His forgiveness...

  • this man is all over the place the sprit of god give us the power to live for god

  • @ele12957returns Thanks I'll check it out

  • why is it that every time someone preaches a message whereby we can add our works to what Jesus has already done we jump and shout and punch our fists in the air when its not about what we do but about what Christ has already done, His finished work, He fulfilled the law, lived a sinless life, was crucified, took our sins on Himself and bore the fullness of Gods Judgment, rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, sits at the right hand of God, He did it all, we become partakers when we believe

  • @maluafever Why is it that every time a half-hearted, unrepentant 'Christian' hears a convicting message they explain it away with the "Jesus did it all" argument? So is the bible a big cruel joke? And after we all figure out what you evidently have, we find that it was given to us just to toss aside and tell everybody "Jesus did it all!" Don't call yourself a Christian if you don't read your bible and believe it. Repent AND believe, there is no love or grace without those two. Seek truth.

  • @mrjdoggy I'd suggest two things: First, read Galatians and what Paul has to say about having a yoke put around you and of Christ being of no value once you slip back under the law. Jesus has been sanctified (set apart) to meet our need for growth in truth and holiness. He's also the author and finisher of our faith. It is He who began and He who will finish the good work in you. Only believe. And secondly, don't assume (or worse still) express a belief that anyone who disagrees is unrepentant.

  • @gore53 I have suggestions for you myself! First of all, I never said anything about coming under the law which no man can succeed at. Second of all, watch with telling people they 'only have to believe'. If I only believe, so I decide it's okay to cheat on my wife, what's my belief worth? If I only believe, so I decide that it's okay to have a homosexual experience, what's my belief worth? Zero, I've trampled under foot the blood of the covenant.

  • @gore53 I can't defeat the lust in my heart, through the grace of God in my obedience, only Christ can do that- but I can make the decision not to cheat on my wife. I can't defeat the anger in my heart, but I can make the decision not to fight with a man who is getting under my skin. I can't defeat the sorrow in my life, but I can make the decisioon not to drink or get high, believing that the grace of God will deliver me. So your argument sounds nice to an ignorant, save it in case you find one

  • @gore 53 And with no ego or malice, I will step to reproove men who lead men into ignorance and licenteousness, this is an age where men who have no clue who God is decide that they can step into the position of teachers and lead men down their personally paved path to hell. This is my commission, I'm judged of no man, and I tell you the same that before you go rebuking and correcting to walk with God, don't just read books about men who did and read into your bible as is expedient for you.

  • @mrjdoggy Consider how many times you said "I can" in your reply. Also consider the Great Commission, preach the Good News of God's grace and forgiveness through Christ Jesus. I don't have the gift of rebuking. God told me to pray for those in error, those who refuse to receive freely that which is freely given. And what are you doing listening to a girl from Ecuador who claims to have had an experience? Repent. Follow Jesus where He can be found, in Scripture, and nowhere else.

  • @gore53 What about how many times I said "I can"? Within my own volition, I can... and what does that mean? Nothing at all. Some of the most ungodly men in the world are faithful to their wives, don't drink or smoke, don't murder or lie... so what? Their dead where they stand apart from Christ, they still need to be cleansed by His blood. What I'm saying is only he can defeat the heart condition, but that doesn't mean that we don't do what we can, and we can refrain from sinning.

  • @maluafever yes Jesus did it all.in this video John is just protecting the Bride of Christ by warning them to flee from sin & don't abuse the Grace of God.that's what happened in the old testament.the children of God got to where they didn't really care about turning from their sin & just thought they could throw some animals on the fire & be forgiven.they really didn't have a repentant heart.John here is showing in scripture that Jesus came to give us the power turn from sin & grow in Him.

  • @CHARACTERK19 Good point but you have missed something, the children of Israel in the old testament were under law and not grace, very different scenario, King Davis spoke of us who are under grace like this, " blessed are those who God does not impute sin, he was not talking about Himself but to us who are under grace. The bible tells us that the power of sin is the law, Jesus fulfilled the law on our behalf, we don't have power over sin, sin has no power over us because of Jesus.

  • @CHARACTERK19 Boo hoo hoo! I'm repenting. I'm shedding tears. I'm repeatedly examining and judging my self. I'm crying big crocodile tears over my sins----- but wait! I'm really sinning by doubting that He alone by the blood He shed is sufficient. Jesus has been sanctified (set apart) to meet a believer's need for growth in truth and holiness. He didn't tell me to work at it, or worry about it. Abide... rest in Him and His finished work. That is true obedience.

  • @gore53 ...“Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able."

    Sounds like work to me.

  • @maluafever what is the purpose of repentance?

  • @CHARACTERK19the word repentance is translated from a greek word Meta Noeo meta is where we get words like metamorphosis and literaly means to change, the word noeo is where we get words like nous and literaly means thinking or mind, hence the word repentance is actually translated as changing ones mind.

  • @ele12957returns Amen!! at last someone who who knows the TRUTH after 2 years of dropping comments on you tube as to the real gospel of grace and having been called everything from a peddler of false doctrine and lies to a blasphemer finally someone who actually agrees with my comment, we are certainly a minority

    Godspeed brother

  • Why is it that every time we as Christains are reminded to live a life of higher standards we get defensive? Do we forget that we represent the King of all Kings? It's not because you have to live a life of higher standards, it is because you love HIM (Jesus) so much you want to. Love (Jesus) more than you love self and John's teaching will become clear. Whenever the flesh is asked to die it becomes defensive. Praise God for the truth!!

  • Halleluyah!!! For someone preaching the truth today!!

  • No wonder John doesn't get too many viewers; because he preaches the truth, repentance, and His love for us.

  • @macroheart when you sin you fall into grace. where sin abounds grace much more

  • @ele12957returns I am sorry you feel that way. If you eyes and heart were open to the truth you would understand what he is saying. He is a very annointed vessel and we all should be careful in watching what we say against the TRUE Men/Women of God. I pray that your understanding will be opened.

  • google Doe's Account, mindblowing.

  • AMEN!!!! The problem we face with so many 'nominal Christians' is one of understanding - where so many basic concepts (such as faith and grace) are misunderstood and thus affect one's whole theological understanding of the Gospel. It's for this reason we see so many who believe through mental assent but do not show the works/fruits of salvation, the inner working of sanctification that manifests itself on the outside.

  • Very good teaching John, Well done! The truth shall set you free.

  • Funny thing is that this message is the message that is preached in the majority of the institutions we call churches today and yesterday for that matter, you only have to see the response from the majority of the people in this meeting to realise most christians relate to and believe this message, and yet we blame the problems in the church on the message of grace, the message of grace is in a minority and only a minority of christians believe it and John B's portrayal of grace is not accurate

  • Comment removed

  • @maluafever I've seen your posts before, and appreciate you're loving patience to carefully try and explain... or better yet, you're patience in contending for the faith. It's a fight. The enemy so wants us to fall back on our own efforts. We're back on his terms then. The question then arises over 'how good' is 'good enough' for God not to burn me in hell? Consider how joyful the countenance those who carry those thoughts. I don't contend well as I tire easily. Glad you're in and fighting.

  • I follow all of John Bevere's teachings. God is true in him. His word is so powerful and the anointing flows deeply through him. This is the truth.

  • What is the full sermon called?

  • A powerful message about Gods Grace.

  • Thank God for all wonderful brothers and sisters here writing thruth. It was comforting to read.

  • "it does not mean that we become sinless! "

It means we have the capacity NOT to stay in the sin.

1 John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sins not.

1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin; for his seed remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Proverbs 26:11 As a dog returns to his vomit, so a fool returns to his folly.

Many ppl aren't free from sin b/c they think they'll deceive themselves by thinking they are freed from it. GO AND SIN NO MORE

  • This is the truth!!! The true message of the gospel has been lost in the churches because christians allowed this to happen! It is a shame!

  • AMEN!!!! Even the demons believe and tremble - we don't even tremble! Jesus said if we love Him we will obey Him.

  • I lived under the grace cover up for 40 years until I found the power of grace through sanctification. Praise God for the truth presented in this sermon. Sin can never take the place for holiness.

  • Thank God for another voice of Biblical Sanity on the Internet! I'm so sick of washed out Washerites and Calvanists! Sadly, the Pentecostal church has been flooded with this same nonsense! This man preached the TRUTH!

  • Is not the process of sanctification the assurance of our belief. I am not speaking of the ascent of the Jesus being GOD but genuine repentence by the power of the GOSPEL that He saved us?

  • This is absolutely beautiful!!!!!!!! May the Lord bless you! Thank you for posting this... this is sooooo true!

    - Bekah

  • YES IT IS!!!

  • Thank God for a powerful teaching on the Grace of God. So many especially some new thinking today "preach" a shallow or cheap grace. Grace helps us to live holy lives for God. Praise God!

  • AMEN BROTHER!

  • 1 Joh 1:8 "If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us."

This verse is for Christians. When Jesus took our sin upon Himself, it does not mean that we become sinless! Sanctification is a progress! :)

Matt 10:22 "...but he that endureth to the end shall be saved"

Rom 6,14 "For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace."

  • @jclovesu amen brother.

  • At the cross, Jesus has borne the full brunt of God's wrath and judgment when He was carrying our sins so that today, there is no more judgment or condemnation for the believers in Christ. (Romans 8:1-4) God has sworn that He will never be angry nor condemn those who are in the new covenant of grace sealed by Jesus' sacrifice. (Isaiah 54:9-10)

  • The verse you quote in romans 8 says "in Christ" and Paul further explained in that very same verse: "who do not walk not according to the flesh". Unfortunately, many translations cut that part of the verse out. If you are not walking according to the Spirit, you are not "in Christ".

  • Working out salvation isn't the same as working out sanctification - that's misquoting the apostle Paul. :) The phrase "fear and trembling" has also been misinterpreted to impart the wrong kind of fear of God - when we let the Bible interpret the Bible, and we will see that the people feared and trembled when they saw the goodness and love of our Lord, not because of His anger or judgment. (eg Jeremiah 33:9, Mark 5:33)

  • Above all else, I believe people trembled because they saw His Holiness and in contrast, their sinfulness.

  • what pastor john is saying is that while you are saved through justification but there is still a need to work out that salvation with fear and trembling and it's necessary to work out this sanctification by the true empowering grace of God. by not seeing the Lord, what i could figure out is that you'll just simply be a nominal Christian. there is no closeness to the Lord, no holiness, no nothing.

  • Good question. Sanctification is not a process - Jesus has become our sanctification the moment we believe in Him. (1 Corinthians 1:30) Also, Hebrews 12 needs to be studied in context. It is not talking about losing salvation; the context is about not falling short of the grace of God - if anyone tries to get right with God by their self-efforts, they have fallen from grace. They are still saved, but they cannot receive blessings from God. They can only receive by His undeserved favour (grace).

  • Help me get this ... he says not to confuse justification with sanctification. He says justification is the moment we are saved and sanctification is how we work out that salvation. Then he quotes Hebrews as saying that without SANCTIFICATION "we will not see the Lord." .... So how can one be 'saved' but also end up 'not seeing the Lord?'

  • Bible verses need to be understood in its proper context and in the light of Jesus' finished work at the cross. Jesus came not to condemn but to save us. I think Ps Bevere doesn't fully understand the gospel of grace and has used those verses to threaten believers of damnation.

  • Listen Carefully: Ps John Bevere is addressing to people who are saved. people who are already in church. believers.. He wasnt talking about salvation by deeds. He was talking about living out the salvation to those who arent (and you will know who you are because the Holy Spirit gives us conviction)

  • I believe that it is not Ps Bevere's message that is misleading or unclear but it is the shortness of this video posted. It is cut-scene and unable to convey a full context of his message as well.

I believe that just this video alone is scarely sufficient to convey the full message of salvation. Salvation is a Decision (start), a Process (doing), and a Destination.

I do not come from ps Bevere's ministry but I can understand what he is talking about.

  • i think you are incorrect..........John bevere couldn't be nymore accurate than he already is...........he did hit it ded on!........i am sick and tired of preachers like Joel oosteen, creflo dollar who ultimately only lead people to hell...........preaching with no correction and rebuke and conviction is no preaching at all..........and John bevere, John mcarthur, Paul Washer are just a few remaining true men of God who preach it with no nonsense

  • @JimmyinChrist

    Agreed

  • Hi JimmyinChrist - which verse was it that John Bevere quoted that you would like to be removed from the Bible???

  • @holydesperation Thank you for posting empowering videos... I love you in Christ. God bless all of us... (n-n) Peace to everyone...

  • This is so true JesusPaid4You. Nice statement!!!!

  • I agree with cindyyoung50 You go girl!!!

  • This is ministry of death and condemnation (2 Cor 3). It is dangerous for our well being. Listen to "The Root Cause Of Your Problem Is Condemnation" in Youtube.

  • Ps John Bevere has mixed law and grace. New wine cannot be put into old wineskin, or it will burst and we will lose the new wine. Sin cannot stop God's grace; rather, God's grace will swallow up sin. God wants us to receive abundance of grace to reign in life through Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:17) Jesus has qualified us to receive every blessing of God - we simply need to reach out and receive freely.

  • @JimmyinChrist

    Amen!!

  • The message of the cross unveils the truth of God's grace. :) Jesus has borne all our sins at the cross, so we who believe in Him are completely forgiven. Jesus is our Holiness (1 Cor 1:30) He is our Representative today. Do a search in Youtube for "Grace Flows in Worry-free Areas of your Life" and "Will the true Christianity please stand up?"

  • @JimmyinChrist

    Amen brother

  • A powerful and true statement of what grace really is! Praise God!

  • ROMANS 8:30 Jesus does it all for us when we are saved. He predestinates us-He calls us-He justifies us-He glorifies us.I accept His free gift through faith.Amen......

  • This is an incredible message on the true grace of God. Sadly enough, it is not a message one hears much in the church today.

  • Amen!

  • Amen. There are alot of folks out there that just do not see this. I myself was a slave to sin until the Lord had mercy on me and opened my eyes. Titus 2:11

  • amen :D
