Hey Marty, nice videos. Got a question. This is all really good, but, when do i use this? I've been playing guitar a long time - Question is, when to use it? How do i know in which key a song is, and when to use all these scales? I can easily play the scales and all, but i wouldn't know when to use them. Thanks.

So is this "box" used for ALL the minor/major pentatonics that start on the A string?

It will work for any of the roots that start on the A string?

I know all 5 boxes of maj/min that start on the E string root... This is a totally new concept for me! EXCELLENT, something new to learn!

marty maybe you should show people the five positions of the minor pentatonic scale. i think that would help in visualizing your 'blues runs' and things like the root on the different strings. just a suggestion :)
