@tstruss912 You are absolutely right.The Nazis had abuse the german cultural artifacts on a damnable way.But don't forget:The stories weren't written to reenforce Hitlers delusional ideas.Nothing on this world is good or bad.It depends always,what you make of it

You surely know Donald Duck.He has to endure a lots of things:Explosions,heavy things are falling down on him and wath have you.But he stands up again and again.Busch was a man with a lots of irony and a shot of black humour

It's 10 years after his death, and on top of that: Wilhelm Busch was born almost exactly 100 years before Hitler's coming into power. The kids being thrown into the oven is just the consequence they had to endure after all the misdoings they've been doing. Remember those times were more strict, even brutal concerning morality and punishment!

Wäre schön, wenn der Kommentar über Kinder und Grausamkeit Allgemeingut wäre. Leider meinen heute allzu viele Eltern und Pädagogen, Kinder vor Grausamkeit bewahren zu müssen. Dabei ist zum Beispiel der Tod der Hexe im Ofen bei Hänsel und Gretel für Kinder die logischste Bestrafung, die es sich vorstellen kann. Und das gilt eigentlich bei fast allen Märchen (wobei Max und Moritz ja eigentlich kein Märchen ist).

Ich finde man hätte den Text auch sprechen können. Das Gesinge nervt auf Dauer ein wenig. Film ist bildlich aber sehr schön umgesetzt.
