  • awesome i would like to hear that bassline on a bass/bari guitar!

  • @Darwinknowsbetter do you play the bass? :)

  • @freakyhead20 no i don't =( but if so i would certainly learn this songs catchy bass line!

  • why so complicated???

  • what you mean?...is it for you? :)

  • Great piece! Where did you find it? I have looked everywhere. Are you sure it's Ray Bryant?

  • yes its from Ray Bryant and I learned it by my teacher. I have to tell you that the 2nd changing to C is a own improvisation..:)

  • Very well done. You should learn the Madison Time -- Hit it! One question, whats the song in the beginning, played ever so briefly?

  • weeeehaaaww, pretty cool; it rocks

  • this is absolutely great! one of your better boogies... also little less conventional because its played in G#, love it!

  • Thank you..Im glad you like it ! :D

  • I really like this! Its simple, but drives along very nicely. Regarding your piano lessons - do you learn from sheet music?

  • no by ear..

  • Lovely, well done.

  • That left hand part is harder than it looks. I'll get it down soon.

  • Great stuff! Do you play any other Ray Bryant pieces?

  • Top rating! Bless you!

  • I love the key change to C!

    Very nice :)

  • I've been listening to this song a number of times now, and I must say: It's just getting better and better! Even though it's almost straight eight, it's a very, very good drive and light swinging groove in this. And that is difficult to achieve. I wish I also had an MP3 with Ray Bryant playing this.

  • Ab is tough...today I cheat with my elect. keyboard...lol. Great job and a cool boogie, layed back and has a lazy summertime feel....

  • you cheated with your keyboard?! :-O shame on you :-P Eeco

  • I like it Eeco, but I usually shy away from Ab.

Maybe this time I'll give it a go.

    Thanks Terry

  • Great swinging mellow sneakin' in the back door boogie!

    Just great, Eeco! Thank you!

  • A high quality performance and a nice homage to Ray Bryant.

I love 'between triplet and straight swing' grooves!

But I must say, I can feel the headache coming just thinking about trying the impossible: playing in A flat...

  • I have problems to see it complete, in the minute 1:25 it doesn't run, its appears as 100% loading but no way, just my problem?? it's the only one that doesn't work

    Un saludo

  • OvrIoRd: Works fine here. Mo problem. Try again. Youtube might be overloaded sometimes.

  • thanks for showing the left and right hands separately

  • Wow..a boogie in A/flat that's just great. I want to learn this song! Tom :D

  • The left hand is a really "Kansas City" left hand. Not as like the other boogie woogie's. It has to be played straight, but it still has the groove in it. Have fun! Eeco
