@mkauchi Thanks Kauchi for your review and nice comments - This is one of my favorite guitars ever - G&L just has the "right feel" and "right sound" for me. Maybe it's arrival to you was disrupted because it was diverted to a "different" Kauchi in Japan - an accident for sure. Maybe it will arrive next week, or next, or next. Thanks for listening. Jim
Thanks for looking *and* the encouraging comment......it's always nice to see that people enjoy our playing. Hope you find some others you like, too......Deb
I really liked the arrangement you played. Of course Deb's great bass playing makes it sound even better! One of my favorites; I play it solo on mandolin. FYI, Panhandle Rag is not a "country" tune, its is a Texas Swing tune and is a great tune for dancing too.☆☆☆☆☆
@TTexas2 Yeah, Texas Swing....I'll vote for that anyday. Thanks a lot for checking out some of our tunes. I'd like to hear your mandolin solo. Hey, have you listened to one of our latest videos "Sunny" where Debbie plays the drums AND bass at the SAME TIME? It's kinda fun to watch her brain sizzle. Jim
Hi Jim and Deb: I've had to play it over and over again. This is great!! You all are wonderful. I can't wait to see Callie's bandana and cowgirl hat - I missed her in this one - she usually is right there checking on you two to make sure you are doing it right (LOL!). Thanks for sharing my friends, and have a great evening. Take care. Gwen
@cadjunk Thanks for looking at our video. If you look closely, you can see Callie's reflection in the bass drum. She was laying just out of camera view, but she did tap her foot to keep us on tempo and give us an approving nod to let us know we doing fine. Thanks again. Jim
@BocaFriend Thanks for watching/llistening - even though it's country. The more I have played and listened to C/W over the years, the more I like it. I think Debbie and I have played more jobs for country audiences than any others. Hope we can get your C/W motor running with future tunes; we won't try to completely convert you, just swing you a bit towards country. BTW, we're fitting Callie for a bandana and a cowgirl hat.
@BocaFriend New respect for Andrea...anyone who gets dumped from a horse and camel gets 5-stars from me. You'll have to send the picture of her petting the horse (I'll send my email by separate msg). Glad to know you enjoy Chet - (my hero). I've seen NCIS, but don't really watch it - why? jim
Thanks, Bill....I know what you meant. I use that expression myself all the time. No offense taken. ..... Yeah, if Jim gets out of line, I've got my choice of drumsticks or the headstock of that Carvin to put him back on track, eh? haha......
@MrJimdeb Hey I love it Deb,,,you know we have traveled the same path a lot more than we may know. Now our band played at the Sembach club a lot to so we may have been on the same band stand at one time. Ramstein Air Base was just down road from where I was stationed. I was RMO barecks. The autobond free way ran through our base. And it was about 500 feet from my barracks . When I was there Ramstine had two alerts a month and it was always at 2 AM and they were flying the F-104 ,later on this.
Hey Jim&Deb,,,another of my favorites . I learned to play this one when I was in Kaiserslaughtern Germany in 1961 and and I still love playing it . You guy's did a great job and l loved it. Deb I'm not calling you a guy , it's just a saying I have ,,It plane to see you are a lovely young lady and when Jim gives you a hard time about anything , let him know it...I'm just kidding ya ...thanks for sharing it. you know its one of my favorites...Bill
@KyThumb Hey Billie, I can't remember when I learned this one, but it seems like I've been playing it for a long time. We spent a lot of time in Kaiserslaughtern ourselves....at Ramstein and later at Sembach. I loved it there. Debbie and I played every week at the O'club at Sembach for the Sunday brunch. @rnrhc10 Hi Rob. Thankzzz to the audience for the loud and rowdy applause. It's a fun song to play - and country music just might be my favorite style to play. Jim
Well that got my toe to tappin'!! Loved this little ditty. Never heard of it before but I like it. Makes me wanna get up and boogie. ;-) Good job guys...er you two. LOLOL
@Elvis66 I'm not surprised you haven't heard it. It's not all that well known and it's pretty old, but it is fun to play, so go ahead, get up and boogie. Thanks for checkin' us out....jim
@SIRONEDRAGON We haven't played out for a while due to some medical issues, but we used to play whenever we could pick up a wedding, birthday party, AMVETs job, etc. We played for Don Young's (Alaska Congressman) big dinner/reelection party a few years ago and some other big citywide (Anchorage) functions when we lived in Alaska.

This was great fun from each side of the camera, it seems!
Really a terrific number -- infectious in the right way! Can
I tell you that neither Andrea nor myself are big on C&W,
but, hey, when it swings, it swings, Jimio! Does this make
you catalytic 'converters' of sorts? Happy Motoring for
us all! I was relieved to know Callie wasn't going to
run around inside the drum like a hamster wheel ...

Actually, before our DeepDiveMouse was an Angel of Mercy,
her first vocation was that of a cowgirl! For real. Andrea,
the German cowgirl. Being thrown from a horse (and dumped
from a camel in Egypt) makes her more favorable to cows
than equines these days. But I have a nice picture of her
petting a horse this summer. I actually enjoy much of
Chet Atkins and am big on the German guitarists who
play that stuff so well. I love notes that bend, but not
ones which twang, y'know? Do you watch NCIS?

I asked about NCIS because the character actor who has a recurring
role as Sec' Nav is also a guitar playing country singer who plays gigs
with an attractive left-handed woman bassist named Candy Chase.
His name is Jude Ciccolella (some know him from "24") and his YT
is his name without the space. JudeCiccolella and I thought it kind
of funny to have a Navy vs AF thing, though his Navy rank is fiction!
On another tack, did you ever cover The Kingston Trio's
FREIGHT TRAIN? I love it. ~T
