i'm 22 and i feel like an immature 17 year old. i don't feel any sort of responsibility or feel like i need to act serious and "adult" like. I've come to see adulthood as an unnatural and artificial concept that somehow stuck with ppl.

So the acting serious thing I can see as a fabrication, but as far as responsibility, that's sort of just part of life (as far as I see it anyway)

Adulthood in the 21st Century starts somewhere between 25 and 30. That's about how long it takes to get established (if you're lucky). Also, people are living a little longer, so the age of actual adulthood has gone up.
