  • The impression that I get from the repubs, is that they demand to hold the White-house & are determined to get president Obama out of the chair.

  • More white voters are shifting to the GOP under Obama. This is do to a bad economy and high unemployment. I think it is not fair for whites to suggest that minority voting patterns should look like theirs. I believe the GOP has worsened its chance of making inroad among black voters because of how they have characterized the first black president. It is not fair, but it is the hard truth because there are two Americas.

  • A DEMOCRATIC ADMINISTRATION IN THE HANDS OF GOD WILL BE COMING SOON AND MOST OF Y'ALL GONNA SEE IT HAPPENING.

  • THE REPUBLICAN 666 FROM REV 1318 : 666X3=1998 WE BEGAN THIS END TIME WITH HURRICANE MITCH LIKE THE TIMES OF NOAH...666/3=222 IT'S FEB 22 GEORGE WASHIGTON'S DOB...1998-222=1776 AMERICA'S INDEP YEAR...DEMOCRATS ARE THE DONKEY FOR THE BODY OF CHRIST INTO THE ETERNAL JERUSALEM.

  • @melkissedec1You sound like a typical fringe Leftist moron. I bet you stand outside infront of city hall shouting your worthless lines at anyone who would take consideration in hearing you. You are most-likely some homeless scum who is mentally-challenged.

The Devil is in the White House right now.

  • Well, they did win 2010... I'm not sure how, looking the video... Have the uneducated, paranoid and extremist masses voted in droves during the 2010 Mid-Terms...

  • What he means to say is "Whites will become the minority and I freakin' LOVE IT"

  • @TheBlackOnWhiteCrime That was propaganda put forth by the Leftists. If you believe that, you are as dumb as any retarded Black who voted for a Democrat. A party that fought to keep slavery going on.

  • LOL hind sight is 20/20.

  • This is exactly what the pundits were saying about the Democrats...in the 1980's...so much for their predictions. The Repubs will simply morph like the Demos did.

  • Generational Minority? I guess if you use the generation span of a mouse!

  • Its sure looks that way now... oh wait, its the exact opposite. Cenk, your a fatass, you just run your mouth like a school girl, a fat one to say the least. Kinda like all liberals.

  • Wow, this was just a year and a half ago. I don't think even most Liberals (like me) trust Obama to handle the economy. Not that I really trust the GOP either. It's like picking between Bozo the Clown, and Goofy.

  • sorry dumbass but now its the dummykkkrats that are in trouble, tea party is kickin ass as well it should after the demmies wont listen to the people. hope you enjoyed the short time of victory.

  • I believe in the future we will tell story's to our grandchildren about the ancient part of Republicans that tried to destroy our country.

  • This guy is as close to an expert as Paris Hilton is to a pastor. First, having a majority in the House and Senate never lasts more than 2 terms. He might have been guessing it, but for the wrong reasons. Secondly, does this guy know how to read polls? Every video I watch of him, he misrepresents something else. He is an economic, legal, and political genius....lol...if you have a five cent education, that is.

  • Just goes to show how much these guys suck......as Obama drains the economy of the U.S.A people will start looking to republicans yet again....hopefully we can get Ron Paul up there this time instead of that fake McCain, and most the neo-con douch bags.

  • @RageAgainstNWO LOL Good luck, believe it or not you crazy nutjob teabaggers are an annoyingly loud minority and will loose.

  • @tanzalone1 That's why the tea party is making a sweep across the nation right? Your in for a huge surprise in 2012.

  • @RageAgainstNWO Even though I don't believe there's a chance in hell of that happening, as a Canadian I'd love to see that insanity go down. But I'm a horror movie fan, so...

  • @tanzalone1 so is that why a bunch of "teabaggers" as candidates have been elected to take over democratic seats? yea makes soo much sence haha *rolls eyes*

  • It's amazing how folks on both sides of the lib/conserv. fence spread the propaganda. They're so wrapped up in each others crap they actually believe this S#@T.

We'll see what real Americans are thinking come November!

  • "Ron Paul" , Third Party candidates for President will never win in this country. They don't have enough money or organization to pull that off. The people with the political intellectual capital work for the two(2) major parties. It will never happen! Pick a side.

  • which side- corporqate whore A or corporate whore B?

    That's not a choice.

The only vote that matters is a vote for a third party- if enough of us do it, we can send a message to these schmucks.

I encourage those on the right to vote for Paul. I encourage those on the left to vote for nader.

    have a nice day.

  • republican party represnts the minority in society the upper class aristocratic societies. although iam Irish i think ur presidential system is fucked up. In America there is a need for a socialist party not communist but aspects of communism not the russian system whereby people like lenin and stalin came in just to abuse their power over people. in a term it should be democratic communism

  • The problem with Republicans is that 80-90 percent of the electorate is not white anymore. The electorate is 70% white. It should be called the Grand White Party.

  • I think the Republicans might get better poll results if they actually presented counter-proposals instead of just saying "No" to everything that is proposed without giving any reasonable alternative.

  • amen!

  • what facts!? you far right idiot

  • This guy is so smart! I mean he's the best political analyst around. His problem is that hes the only one to believe that. Wat he doesnt know is that politics is cyclical. Every major party in the world experiences good and bad seasons even the almighty democratic. Evangelical christians who support massively the GOP have more babies than anyone else. Part of them voted Obama, but it was just because Bush was so unpopular. Next election this small % of Christians will start returning to the GOP

  • The GOP relies heavily on pre-Jim Crow law attitudes, something the young are increasingly rejecting, the Baby boomer generation is the base of the GOP & those are folks are dying, literally, they are going to collect retirement now, which was wiped out in a Republican administration. As science advances religious fundamentalism keeps decreasing. American atheists have DOUBLED in ten years. The GOP will have a HARD time surviving in another 10-20 years when atheists are 30% of the population

  • BTW, Evangelicals white Christians don't breed as much as Catholic Hispanics. If you look at future trends for demographics the Hispanic population in America is expected to double within 40 years where the white population is expected to shrink by 20%. In 1960 Whites were 85% of the population, now we are only 66%, we do NOT breed as much as you like to think.

  • ALL NONSENSE!

  • Very good point about the "concentration" of hardcore Republicans. In politics, the middle ground is of the utmost importance, hence the tendency for parties in western societies to exhibit only superficial differences in policy. As soon as one starts going to far away from the middle, left or right, there's trouble.

  • Sorry, Cenk. I have to disagree with you on this. The Repuglican's aren't about to become a "Generational Minority", they're about to become the modern day "Whig Party". They're headed for EXTINCTION.

Another party will emerge that will attempt to take the middle-right, and because of their newness will garner some support, but even they will struggle to win elections against the Democrats, who will be controlling everything for decades to come. Simple fact. Bank on it.

  • Wish I could agree, nuke. At least in the short run. Their decision to purge moderates from their party has finally cost them, as has their xenophobia and contempt for education and science. But, I am convinced there are more hard core, evangelical, clinically paranoid, racist, gun happy types oout there than we want to believe there are. Add those who, incredibly, still worship at the altar of unfettered capitalism and, sadly, you still have enough of a base to fuck things up a little longer.

  • @hotnuke lol "democrats, who will be controlling everything for decades to come" yeah, look how well Obama is doing....LOL....you idiots are out of office in 2012.

  • @RageAgainstNWO Obama is doing great you nickelplated twit.

  • @syzygy500 How is Obama doing great? By being Bush #2? Obama broke ALL the promises he made while running for president, and is the most pro-war president in U.S history, but you dumb liberals wont hold him acountable, like you did Bush. Obama works for the same elite Zionist bankers that Bush worked for, and Clinton before him. And what kind of insult is "nickleplated twit?" What a moron.

  • @RageAgainstNWO Funny, because you conservative radicals didn't hold Bush responsible for his war crimes. We do hold Obama accountable. Go back to your cupboard.

  • @syzygy500 I'm a conservative, but I'm no Bush lover....he works for the banks, so does Obama. I'm a Ron Paul guy, the only rational choice for America.

  • @RageAgainstNWO I would vote for Ron Paul if he weren't a racist.

  • @syzygy500 He is not a racist. Did you vote for Obama? Look who he hung around with.

  • @RageAgainstNWO traitor-

  • @ARepublicanVictory Homo, you responding to every comment left on the page makes you look like the nutcase.

  • @RageAgainstNWO Stupid idiot, that is because this morons are as clueless as YOU. I have to put them into better perspective.

  • @syzygy500 There are no such thing as war crimes when it comes to Bush. He is guilty of no war crimes. He is only being slandered by members of the anti American and anti war Left. He is guilty to people who hate capitalism and love socialism. He is guilty only to a moron like yourself. Get over it. Bush ruled and people had jobs. No one can work under the anti employment Obama government. Death to the fake ass president Obama.

  • @RageAgainstNWO You need to leave the conspiracies alone. It makes you look like a mental nutcase.

  • @syzygy500 Obama is not doing great. I know the Leftist and biased media WANTS a loser like you to think so. But, as long as the media says he is, you will believe it. That is what happens when you are a Leftist fringe drone.

  • @hotnuke ha. I see you wrote this a year ago, well.. guess you couldn't see the future, wait till tuesday.

  • @hotnuke Like the filthy anti American Democrats? lmao

The Republican Party is just fine. What is about to become extinct is welfare government, illegal immigration, abortion, Black and Hispanic racists who use the race card, much like this turd who telecast this show.

  • And they tore it down.ex the constitution ,the law ,deregulation etc.

  • Another ignorant, biased, and fanatical political party worshiper.

"It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."

    -- Mark Twain

  • @ThirdEyeBlind33 i like that quote

  • ..name one communist state

  • Maybe you should just move back to Germany.

  • *

Rush Limbaugh is so arrogant and negative that's it's no wonder the Republican Party is SO unpopular. By turning to him as their main voice and "leader" rank and file Republicans are turning to the very kind of voice that lead them into this abyss they're in the first place. They are living in denial.

**Until rank and file Republicans start LISTENING to Ron Paul and the libertarians, they are going to be DOOMED to being UNPOPULAR and OUT of power.

    The future is the libertarians.

    *

  • Or at least a merger with the libertarians, but social libertarianism, which is usually liberal, scares the hell out of some repbublicans

  • BoredGuyWithCamera

It scares the hell out of them because libertarians advocate a free society.

A lot of Americans love to brag about all of our freedom, but the truth is that we aren't really that free a country anymore, and certainly aren't the freest country in the world. Many people I talk to from other countries have many freedoms we don't have here and laugh at our blindness.

If we're going to brag to the world about freedom, then we had better start really actually BELIEVING in it

  • @RonPaulRevolution4u The Republican Party gained seats during the 2010 Midterm elections. Pay attention much?

  • @RonPaulRevolution4u As much as I hate Ron Paul, I'll take him anyday over the republicans.

  • The GOP will be in trouble aslong as they keep up this B/S about closing the borders!!! The Mexican Pop keep growing and growing!!!

  • Grow MexPop Grow. There are a bunch of white supremacist channels on Youtube, your comments will go over swimmingly there!

  • HUH??!?!?!?

  • A functioning 2-party system is necessary. But if we are going to have a 1-party system for the next few years, it looks like the Democratic party can handle creating their own opposition.

Which is actually something the Democrats are good at: arguing among themselves ;)

  • Well, a functioning multi-party system is necessary, but that's a different issue, and unless some of our election laws change we're not going to have a stable system of 3+ parties.

As for one party becoming dominant, that's not something for anyone to worry about. The US will always revert to a 2-party system. It's happened before, and it'll happen again. Parties fading, growing, emerging and splinting is how things work in America, and I'd bet on (and hope for) the Dems splitting too, myself.

  • No, that's a terrible idea. Our 2-party system is the reason our legislature works better than any other, nations with multiple parties are a mess. We don't NEED more parties, we need people to be involved in their parties. Now that Democrats are majority across the board, we can get some genuine liberal voices heard, the Democratic Party has been dominated by moderates for a generation and we need to hear from REAL liberals.

  • Really!?!?!? "arguing among themselves" is the reason the right is in so much trouble!!! You have ppl like Glen Beck and Rush sooooo far right... Then you have ppl lile McCain towards the middle. You guys lost the election because of Palin!!! McCain had to chose her so the crazies on the right would vote for him! your own party would have voted for Obama if McCain chose a vp more towards the middle...LOL

  • "But something MUST rise to hold the Democrats free spending ways in check."

The thing is, the Democrats can take care of that themselves. There are many Democratic voices, and quite a few of them have concerns about the deficit, and have stood up to some of Obama's plans.

    They're called "Blue Dog" Democrats.

Unlike Republicans, they offer actual solutions, and the rest of the Democrats are perfectly willing to compromise with them.

  • GeneralBolas :

I agree with you that the Democratic Party is more broad right now agree about that being a good thing. However, major parties tend to become so large that they move with a general inertia that is hard to stop if not held in check by another party. I agree that the current mainstream GOP have become so odious and out of touch that they DON'T deserve to be the entity to be the check against the Democrats.

But something eventually MUST rise like a new 3rd Party to be the check.

  • as an educated individual, I cannot go anywhere near a party whose majority doesnt understand evolution and holds to creation fables where the earth was created in seven days. Religion's hold on the Republican party is destroying it too, Atheism is on the rise 7% up to 16% in the last 20 years, and they are all going democrat.

  • OnWisconsin42

I like you believe in evolution.

However, I have NO problem with one who holds a religious view so long as they don't use the force of government to push their religious view on me. So the debate isn't whether a secular or religious view is right. The question is: Should government use the force of state to impose a religious view or not? As a libertarian I say no, but RESPECT anyone's beliefs.

THIS is why the libertarian wing of the GOP is the ONLY thing that cans save it now.

  • I hope the libertarian party does succeed in reeling in the far right of the party, Ron Paul isn't terrible, I like how he supports legalizing marijuana (although I don't do it myself i agree with the stance) and separating out church and state. I hope the moderates can reel in the crazies, however, it may bode even better for the left if they continue down their self destructive path. the future could hold the Democrats being the center right and the creation of a strong Progressive Party.

  • OnWisconsin42

IF you think about it, it actually bodes better for the libertarians. When I say "libertarian" I don't just mean ones in the Libertarian Party, I also mean ones in the Republican Party. There has always been a small libertarian wing in the party, but it has grown due to Paul's candidacy.

But something MUST rise to hold the Democrats free spending ways in check. The ruling mainstream of the GOP DOESN'T deserve to be that check. But something MUST rise. It will be the libertarians.

  • I guess my previously comment that I made several hours ago wasn't so stupid now. HUH?

Arlen Specter has proven my point, that the more moderate Rebublicans are moving to the center. But, I certainly didn't suspect that Arlen Specter was going to bitch slap the GOP and join the Democrats. Who will bitch slap the GOP party next?

  • Yes, I think a huge amount of the moderate GOP/conservatives are moving to the center. The old school GOP just don't get it. The times has changed and I think more of the newer GOP/conseravtives don't share those old GOP values anymore. Yes, I believe that the GOP is fucked. Well actually, the GOP is fucking themselves. Or should I say teabaggin' themselves.

  • The GOP will never become popular again until they ditch the authoritarian, neoconservative, new right types who rule the party and and start listening to different types of voices than the current arrogant, neocon Limbaugh/O'Reilly/Hanity type voices who supply their talking points.

They would be smart to start listening to the libertarian wing of the party represented by people like Ron Paul who are POPULAR with young people and the ONLY thing that's actually growing int their ranks right now.

  • Libertarian philosophy got US into this mess. It's time for people to care about this country, and not just profit and greed. Our transportation and medical systems are in the stone age. Unless we build a modern public transportation, and "cut out the middlemen (insurance companies)" in health care, we are going to fall behind Europe, China, and the rest of the world that is properly planning for the future.

  • pcc7407

You are flat wrong. America HASN'T been following libertarian philosophy at all. There was NOTHING libertarian about Bush and Cheney, and NOTHING libertartarian about the modedern Republican "neocon" hierarchy.

We libertarias spent the last 8 years as the harshest criics of the Bush Administrations policies, its unjust war in Iraq, and its asault on civil liberties, and corporate cronyism.

Don't blame us for the mess. We've never been in charge. Blame the neocons who run the GOP.

  • RonPaulRevolution4u:

Certainly the Reagan/Republican philosophy has been free market with less government regulation and interference, and as such, libertarian.

The problem is that adherence to strict dogma, be it socialism or anarchy, is not good.

    (continued in my next post)

  • We need a robust, creative, but also responsible entrepreneurial spirit, as well as

public enterprise and responsible regulation for the common good, in the realms of transportation, medical care, social security, education, environmental stewardship and defense.

I certainly agree with much that Ron Paul says, and he is a wonderful speaker, but philosophical inflexibility can lead to despotism and chaos.

  • pcc7407

Libertarian econmics is dissimilar to the mainstream GOP.

They are against corporate cronyism and control in Washington. *They are AGAINST the U.S. overseas military empire which consumes almost 1/2 the Federal Budget (this is a HUGE economic issue! - HUGE difference here). Librarians want tax cuts evenly at ALL income levels, not just mainly for the rich like mainstream GOP.

Though they don't like regulation of free markets, but libertarians do believe in regulating the Federal Reserve

  • With bank profits up and banks trying to give back their money, there is no need for the government to convert to common stock from preferred except to advance Obama's political socialist agenda.

Obama is refusing to let banks give back the TARP money until they pass a "stress test." Obama says he does not want banks to become fully private prematurely and then need more help later. Don't believe it. Obama wants to keep the TARP money in the banks so he can have a reason to control them.

  • It's been three months. After a financial crisis like this, I wouldn't trust them to go back that quick either. Think of it this way, if your kid got into a car accident because of his friends, even if no one at all was hurt, would you give him the keys the next day?

  • Originally it was agreed that the feds would take preferred stock, not common stock. Common stockholders have a vote on company management. By changing this fundamental element of TARP Obama will give Washington a voting majority among the common stockholders of these banks and other financial institutions. The 500 companies receiving TARP money will be, in effect, run by Washington.

And whoever controls the banks controls the credit and, therefore, the economy. That's called socialism.

  • When TARP was first outlined by Bush it did not call for any transfer of stock to the government. The Democrats demanded that the taxpayers "get something back" for the money they were lending to the banks. House Republicans, wise to what was going on, rejected the administration's proposal and sought, instead, to provide insurance to banks, rather than cash. Their plan would not involve any transfer of stock. But McCain undercut his own party's conservatives and went along with the Dems plan.

  • Obama showed his hand this week since he is considering converting the stock the government owns in our country's banks from preferred stock, which it now holds, to common stock.

This change is momentous. It means that the federal government will control all of the major banks and financial institutions in the nation. It means socialism.

  • The libertarian wing of the Republican Party is rising & is the ONLY entity in the Party that is GAINING popularity, and that resonates with young people.

They are the entity in the Party that has NEW ideas, is leading in young people, and has a better, much more clearly principled and ethically tangible way of explaining what's wrong with the current system of runaway government, runaway debt, and high taxation.

WATCH MY videos to see why libertarians like Ron Paul hold the key to the future

  • calling ron paul alibertarian is a joke considering his pro-life stance on abortion.

  • Libertarians are very evenly split on the issue of abortion just like everyone else, have been for a LONG time, and if you were following libertarian circles long enough, you'd know that.

Libertarian philosophy states that you can't inflict physical force or violence against another, unless they have first inflicted force or violence on you. Many libertarians who are are pro life, like him, apply this concept of the use of physical force or violence to the fetus who they deem to have rights.

  • ronpaulrev- that prolife crap is why i voted for obama instead of paul, despite the fact that i agree with just about all the tenants of libertarianism. to purport that a non-sentient cluster of cells is a person or needs defending as such is the worst kind of psuedo-religeous, antiscience that helped destroy the GOP in the first place. no educated, intelligent person buys that utter fallacy, and that was one of the biggest reasons i voted democratic this term for the first time in my life.

  • judging from the election, im not the only one who feels this way. for the libertarians to succeed, they need a candidate that truly believes in freedom of choice and seperation of church and state. being prolife is an obvious negation of both ideals. run a candidate like ron paul without that BS, and ill not only vote for them, ill campaign for them every waking minute im not working for my family, and contribute every cent that doesnt take food off my table. really, im not kidding.

  • Rank and file Republicans need to see where they're failing or they're going to continue to get rolled.

Latest polls show the GOP at historic lows, & the Democrats at historic highs for a generation.

One would think they'd be looking for NEW voices and new ideas to lead them out of the abyss.

But who are they rallying around?: Rush Limbaugh & Newt Gingrich - the same OLD voices that lead them into this hole in the 1st place.

They need to let the libertarians like Ron Paul take the lead.

  • I agree.

  • Approximately 300,000 Iraqi girls are rapped by American solder , If some did the same to American girls what American will do imagine. That why lots of sucides boom in Iraq. Most of them women and girls. But US media did not show facts in the TV.

  • Lie.

  • The problem with the republican party is that they have lost there direction, because they are leaderless. When a party or group is leaderless many pretenders send confusing or the wrong message.

  • Its not just the wrong message, many times there is no message. Republicans got so pissed about the new federal budget, but they didn't even put out a budget of their own! WTF

  • You are correct my friend. I still don't understand what the Republican message is. Is the president a socialist? facist? I mean if that is what they are going to do and say, they deserve what they are gettinng. I mean they are still in the 1960s and 70s.

  • Their message is simple:

Cut spending, lower taxes, limited government, strong defense.

You should check out the Republican Party's website to learn more about them, even if you disagree with them.

  • This "message" is not as simple as you make it out. Cut spending on what? everything? I don't think so! Did bush and the republicans even do any of these things? They cut taxes on the top 1%, then convinced the base that it was in their interest to do that. Limited govt and strong defense are opposing messages how do they get integrated in the republican mindset? If you cut spending on the military do you still have a strong defense? Republicans think they are in the majority, keep dreaming!

  • Comment removed

  • Well, physcal conservatives who are republican would agree. This party has ignored spending, limited government, and strong defense, also I'll throw in the United States Constitution, for the past 10 years. I mean the message on the Party's web page means nothing....What is their message and how do they plan on repairing the party. I say they don't. They are going to be relegated to a fringe party....if they aren't already.

  • They still don't have a leader for their party. Is it palin or steel or gingrich? nobody knows! Leaderless parties mutate or splinter into new groups. The crazy teabaggers will become crazy libertarians while the more moderate republicans that still want roads will reorganize into a more coherent and rational party. Lets hope they stay off balance and splintered., because their ideas are tired and their leadership is nonexistent.

  • lol.

  • ...and that is all because gays and the guetto. America is turning to a swine country and that will lead to major civil problems.

  • Its spelled ghetto... Also, do you use argument, historical evidence and philosophy in your reasoning or only the dogmatic belief that an invisible man in the sky told you these things... Im just curious to see how insane you actually are.

  • haha, so you got me on spelling. Good yob. As for idiocracy, God is not logical, which makes Him super natural. One can only know Him through experience. Try it

  • God or no God, gays are here to stay dude, better get used to it ;)

  • THOSE NUMBERS ARE HIDEOUS!!

  • Republicans, Christians, and Fox News are ignorant, arrogant, and full of hate. Everyone is starting to realize this.

  • The BEST comment EVER!

  • you got the monkey part in your name right.

  • I'm getting tired of those who reupload videos in order to generate clicks from subscribers.

  • This is why republicans are so violently lashing out. They know they are losing. The irony is that their antics are pushing even more people away.

  • That is exactly the point I was going to make so I will just give kudos to you! I don't know for the life of me why they can not understand that.

  • extremism is the refuge of failing ideologies

  • yep

  • what are the "professionals" ?

  • The Republicans will never become popular again until they start LISTENING to their libertarian wing (who the Party has blocked out) such as Ron Paul.

Americans want change and the GOP MUST become the ones who can offer it. Yet they're all still clinging blindly to Rush Limbaugh and the same old neocon style that's heavily authoritarian, negative, and always vilifies those who don't agree, instead of offering a new positive vision.

The libertarians are the ones with the new positive vision.

  • Not really.. Ron Paul advocates isolationism and basically stepping back into the 19th century in a lot of ways. He has _some_ good ideas but I wouldn't like to see what happens if his agenda became the republicans main issue.

  • megamarsvin

    NO

It's more he's the ONLY one who sees that we have to move America's foreign policy OUT of the 20th century cold war mentality when America had over 50% of the world's wealth, **and INTO the 21st CENTURY where we have FAR less % and shrinking, and move our economic resources to HERE at home.

He is the ONLY Republican who understands that you CAN'T build the size of government down, LOWER taxes, and REDUCE the crippling debt much at all without building down the overseas empire

  • megamarsvin

To add to my last comment, and as to your comment: "I wouldn't like to see what happens if his agenda became the republicans main issue." :

***What would happen if his agenda became the Republican's main issue is that *****the GOP could become popular again.

America is TURNED OFF by the prevailing Bush/McCain neocon agenda of the GOP mainstream, and want CHANGE. SO rank and file a Republicans MUST change to win again

THEY need to LISTEN to Ron Paul the REAL change agent.

  • megamarsvin

As to your assertion the Paul advocates isolationism:

***If you really think about it, it's neoconservative establishment in the GOP who are the isolationists, NOT Ron Paul, because with all their rabid interventionism, and their invasion of Iraq, etc, it is THEY who made America isolated and downright hated in the world.

Whereas Paul would talk to other nations, negotiate & trade with them, make friends with them, and build bridges of peace and mutual understanding to PROTECT us

  • I like the liberatian aspect of the republican party (it's a lot better than the controlling, authoritarian ways of bush and cheney), but something that always concerns me is the amount of neo nazis, white supremamcists, and skin heads that call themselves conservative libertatians. Now I know they aren't truly libertarians (they're actually so authoritarian that even the government isn't controlling enough for them, so they protest it), but they still give the whole movement a bad name.

  • TheBackOfTheBoat

I know of few neo nazis, white supremacists, or skin heads who refer to themselves as "libertarians". And I know of none who supported R.P. here in the city where I live in our Meetup group. Most were:: a LOT libertarians, a LOT of anti war activists (many of whom were liberals), and a few paleocons (some paleocons are racist, but none in our group).

Most neo nazi types I've come across don't like libertarians because we're too wide open on social issues and we like the ACLU.

  • also keep in mind that there are plenty of us liberal libertarians too...we want the same things as conservative liberatians but appoach getting these things from a different direction.

  • TheBackOfTheBoat

I don't consider libertarianism to be either a "liberal" or a "conservative" ideology by the modern definition (we're akin to classic Jeffersonian liberalism of the 18th cent)

Anyone who supports personal freedoms & civil liberties is an ally to me

I think you're confusing libertarians with paleoconservates. Many paleocons are in a alliance with libertarians in the GOP right now. Any of the few racist types who supported R.P. were paleos (only a minority of paleos are racist)

  • Look up:

The Carter fiasco..everyone was anti-Republican when Carter was elected, toward the end of term everyone was Republican and Reagan won by a landslide...this country alternates very often when it comes to politics.

  • It's Whig Party Time!

  • Looking at how racial groups vote is collectivism, and ignorant.

    And, it is Racist itself.

    FAIL

  • 'Racism is simply an ugly form of collectivism, the mindset that views humans strictly as members of groups rather than individuals. However, By encouraging Americans to adopt a group mentality, the

advocates of so-called "diversity" Actually perpetuate racism. Their obsession with racial group identity is inherently racist. We should understand that racism will endure until we stop thinking in terms of groups and begin thinking in terms of liberty.'

  • Its time to grow up and put the left right bullshit behind us. They seem to breed hypocrites who criticize one side for introducing a bill, then condone it when their side does it. Will this show be going into the democratic party being in trouble this time next year when the dollar collapses? I somehow doubt it. Bash bush for expanding wiretapping, then praise obama for expanding it!! PARTISAN POLITICS, YEAH!!!

  • who the fuk is praising obama for keeping wiretapping?

  • Right now the DEMs have a 59-41 advantage in the Senate, but next year they'll have 62-63 Senators or more, and maybe that'll finally cause the GOP to wake up & get rid of the wild nuts in the party like Beck.

  • WAKE UP!! The "left-right" party system is a tool used to deprive us of our freedom of speech. Where any dissenting argument is SILENCED because of their supposed political self interest or affiliation. It is called the "poisoned well fallacy."

  • Well, the thing I disagree with Cenk on is that as much as Geithner is going to screw us, at some point Obama had to say "Yes," which is terrible. He has to stop saying yes to Geithner and grow a pair. Either that or he is proposing these ideas, which I doubt. I like Obama, but in the words of the late Paul Harvey when talking about Nixon and Vietnam "Mr. President, I love you but you are WRONG!"

  • LOL, Cenk said American people are smart

  • Being republican and claiming it, in these times, to me, seems like a red flag of stupidity. So, I guess I've not made as many friends as I could have, but I don't want stupid friends anyways.

  • Try living with in-laws that are nothing but Republicans!!! I love it! My wife is a Republican, BUT she oted for Obama!!! She has come around and is more of a moderate, where I am a moderate Democrat.

  • My old man is a Republican, my mom is a Republican who voted for Obama and I am moderate Democrat

  • **

If the Republicans are to find their way back, rank and file GOP voters are going to have to start listening to RON PAUL and the libertarians because THESE are the people showing the party where it needs to go to become popular again.

Someone like Rush Limbaugh is only repelling people AWAY with his divisiveness and vilification of his opposition, whereas Ron Paul is leading new young people INTO it with his positive optimism, ability to convert opposition, and his "vision thing".

    **

  • question: who are the leaders in the "ron paul movement", besides ron paul? ron paul is way too old to ever be president - you do see that, don't you?

so who will you support in 2010 or 2012? seems like the GOP doesn't even consider paul or his ideas.

  • Dude you must get back on your meds. Broadcasting from your Mother's basement is no life.

Ask the doc to bump your Effexor 10mg.

Do you see any markings on the helicoptors?

  • I'll agree with that. I like when people talk about Ronald Reagen. The same Ronald Reagen who was for amnesty, who raised taxes, and who's Reagenomics help kill the middle class with income distribution towards the wealthy. Conservatism has failed our country for the last 28 years. To bad liberals don't have the guts to say so.

  • Don't forget the Ronald Reagan that gave the Iranians weapons twice (once to end the hostage crisis and again later during Iran-Contra), and busted up the Air Traffic Controllers Union

  • Your Fascist president will eat you too!

  • The marginal tax rates for the wealthiest Americans went from 70% when Reagan took office to 28% by the time he left. While he was raising taxes on everyone else, he was cutting them for the people at the top. Nice of him wasn't it?

  • i thought it was 51 bot 71 did obama go up?

  • The Dems have a 59-41 advantage in the Senate, but I believe everyone agrees the Dems will totally control the Senate next year for they'll get their 60 seats, maybe 62-64.

And if the GOP doesn't muzzel the nutcases like Glenn Beck the Dems will have 70 by 2012.

  • RepubliCUNTS

  • the republicans don't have enough sensible moderates.

  • Easy for you to say...

  • the bad news for the republicans is that O'bambi is the FDR of our time and they know it.... soft.... na, cap the Pirates in the head at your first chance... and all three went down.. captain safe... no smurking while hopping on one foot. Just pass the praise. Nice... Hint to Reps... when you are in a hole over your head.. quit digging.

  • Very true, the whole republican argument is will Obama keep the country "safe". Somalia was a damaging blow for the republicans

  • His name is Obama you asshole!
