the band is Steel Panther. They've been around L.A. for about 8 years. you might remember them from a Visa commercial about the L.A. rock band Danger Kitty from 1984.

They've played the Sunset Strip doing a Spinal Tap like show for 8 years on Monday nights. it's the most consistently sold out show in town. they mix 80's covers with schtick about 80's metal bands. to be honest, they're really pretty F'ing hilarious when they do their own show.

metal skool (now steel panther)... they're a parody 80's hair band that do a lot of shows in Vegas i believe... a lot of their gigs have celebrities in the audience, who get to "crowd participate" by singing with the band... check it out... the Kelly Clarkson one's my personal favorite
