Take out your shocks, fit high profile soft rubber, and prepare to launch harder! :-) I could never beat 16.5 in it once I fitted semi slick track tyres and new stiffer shocks, not possible. I bet our trap speeds were about the same, but I couldn't tell you what that number was off the top of my head.

My best was a 16.41 actually (just went and checked) but got no trap speed as they musta been doing it by stopwatch or something (was on a closed road by the local sports car club). At another drag race i entered it in, on a barely used airport runway, i had the following results: Reaction: 0.352, mph: 80.15, time: 17.353. Had no traction though!

Your R32 has an rb20de engine, meaning it has no turbo. I'm thinking of getting one as my first, definitely will after this video.

Was a great car... until it was fraudulently taken from me :-( VERY reliable engine if maintained right. held mine at 7500 for extended periods often. Not overly fast though 16.0 was best at the strip, but can brake and corner with the best if you are up to it :-)

Exactly. There is another 10 - 20 seconds to take off that time by driving dangerously and with no margin... It is as safe as the car is. I did all the work on brakes etc, it was in perfect shape.

4. the maintenance on that car is perfect and it will out stop most anything out there.

7. i do race on tracks, and thats fun too, but not as diverse as public roads. not much of that drive is illegal at all.
