the psp keeps repeating itself, there is no big upgrade but the DSi made some nice upgrades. Apps, super backward compatibility(possibly), Majoras Mask (really its on a website, but i dont beleive it either), cameras(3 megapixls), music, FREE "photoshop"

I agree with Necro, I dig my PSP. What's up with this "review"? If you even wanna refer to it as that. I would say its more of a conversation between stoners with a LOT of free time on their hands. I did hear a lotta burns directed towards the DSI, but nothing about the PSP 3000. I do think a second joystick would be handy. But aside from the brighter screen, you have higher processing speeds for games and the net, a built in mic, AND THE ABILITY TO PLAY GAMES + UMD ON ANY TV. Now that's tight.

I prefer the PSP. The PSP has better graphics that the DSi and the PSP, IMO, has better games. The DSi has a bunch of child games. Games like God of War, Prince of Persia, and even Resistance is on the PSP.

I found a way that you can play GBA games on the DSI, if you have anything like an R4 you can download old games from Visual Game Boy into you Micro SD card by using a flash drive with an Micro SD card slot at the other end and use that Micro SD card to play it in your R4 or older games. If you can use this strategy than you don't need to worry about the DSI being too advance for it.

Don't know about the PSP, but the DSi...

I'm a (most of the time) shameless Nintendo whore, I'll throw that out there right now. With the downloadable games, and it will have its own line apparently. But even then, it is a bad upgrade, now that I look at it. I'll be getting it anyway because, if I can get a camera, I can do a video review of both.

It's a fuck-up, yes. But then, I'm gonna get it. I'll keep my DS Lite(as Vain said, Europe gets screwed over with game releases) as well.

Right now, the DSi is looking pretty weak compared to the DS Lite and the Phat. Another thing straining my mind is the region-locking. There goes my Phoenix Wright 3(US import), and how will I play that Haruhi RPG(hello, Play Asia) when it comes out on the DS?

On the note of L buttons, my one's going now and my old one's went and all(I have two DS Lites, a good black one and a totalled white one).

You can still play imported DS games on a DSi. It's just that the system's region locked for DSi software only. So you can still import DS games and play them on a DSi. Just wanted to point that out.

I also think that the lack of a GBA slot was a very poor decision on Nintendo's part. And not just for the fact of no backwards compatibility.

Take for example, Pokemon. You can't get every single Pokemon without importing them from the GBA games IIRC, so the DSI screws you over for getting 100% on it.

Also, in MegaMan Battle Network 5 DS, some of the bonus features can only be used with the GBA BN games, like new music and the new Double Souls. So yeah, i am not really gonna get a DSI.

the reason they removed it was so that it makes us buy gba games via online. They want to make more money but their excuse for removing it was probably that they just want to make it even slimmer which is really just unnecessary. agree with me? well this is just my theory and i might not be right but apparently a whole new range of accessories will be released. To be honest they really want you to buy a new gba for 25 pounds or however many dollars in the usa... or buy games via the online shop.
