i must be honest, there was no game that ever scared me to death as much as the suffering. it wasnt one of those "OMG that came outta NOWHERE," scares, it was a mental thriller. somehow someway there was a boogeyman out for you, you were pretty much in hell, and you had to carve you're way out of it. the game was chilling and scary no doubt, all i can say tho, is that it was an AMAZING game. better than any scary movie period.

The only time i was ever playing a 3rd person horror game and i was actually afraid, was when i first played the original Silent Hill. That shit fucks you up inside.The only other time was Resident Evil: Directors Cut. that's easily the best and one of the scariest games i've ever played.
