We didn't lose from fighting. Infact, we won most of the battles we fought. The war for Americans lost support and no-one wanted us in there, and we did have our fair share of losses. We withdrew, so we lost by default.

@nkkrustev a regular army can win in guerrilla warfare, but has to use smart tactics and not over and over send soliders to the enemy's playground to get slaughter. The key is to stop enemy's supplies to the fighters. soviets didnt do that in afghanistan, U.S didnt in vietnam and that why both loss. After 5 years in iraq, almost 4000 dead we put troops on the iraq-iran border, IEDs attacks went down 85%

The only thing the Americans suffered was a high body count. The funny thing is that even without statistical hyperinflation used by PR to counter the media's propaganda, the NVA and VC deaths were far, far higher than what America lost.

We didn't lose from fighting. Infact, we won most of the battles we fought. The war for Americans lost support and no-one wanted us in there, and we did have our fair share of losses. We withdrew, so we lost by default.
