  • love, love , love Sarah and Robbie together..........beautiful song!!!!

  • So nice

  • I am sensitive to how the Native is portrayed in film and the arts, since I am part Native, myself. Many times in films, the Natives have been portrayed as "savages" or the "other". This is a Spielberg production, so I am not sure. Guess I have to watch this.

  • To me, I think this should have played over the end credits during Episode 6

  • Sigh.....TWO of my heroes together. What could be any better?!

  • What a great version. Two great talents. I'd like to hear them sing Broken Arrow together. Great guitar work too. And probably Sarah at the piano.

  • Sarah McLachlan is like Shania Twain, both are unearthly beautiful songstresses whom I have to look away from lest my heart becomes enslaved

  • I love Robbie Robertson

This song is great and I loved that show Into The West

  • Never knew this version existed.. Love it..

  • ....beautiful..

  • damn what a great song!! but that cant be all of it. is there a longer version???

  • @shinmasterx

yes, there is a longer version. But its just Sarah, & there's a music video for it.

  • After watching Into The West makes me feel terrible that I'm white. All those poor Native's gettin killed by white people soldiers.

  • This is excellent .... Also two fab voices Robbie & Sarah.

I will but the series from Amazon.

    Thanks for posting !

  • My parents got me the DVD collection of Into The West for Christmas years ago. I just fell in love with it when seeing it on TV. I love the case it's put in and I loved this song.

  • Beautiful LOVE my Cherokee Heritage Thank You for sharing our Great Spirit ♥♥♥

  • So great ... and what a great pairing

  • i loved that show:)

  • This is a Beautiful Song!!! Robbie Robertson is Native American & Mainly Sings Native American Songs Now Days.Teaming Up With The Great Voice Of Sarah McLachlan Was Just Great!!! Robbie Sang On Very Few Of (The Bands) Songs.1 He Did Sing Back Up On Was Cripple Creek.Robbie Wrote A Lot Of The Music For The Band & When He Left He Made His Living From The Songs He Wrote. Then Turned to Native American Music. You Rock Robbie !!! Warm Blessings ~TSALAGI~ Of The Mother Tribe

  • she has a deepness in here lyrics that are so meaningful

  • it's Robbie Robertson and he was in " The Band " and the main singer ...and Canadian awesome song writer, singer, producer.

  • another day... otro día. nunca jamás deberíamos olvidar... escuchen.

  • beautiful~thankyou

  • That song for my loving child....Lucky Luca...for his 8th Birthday on 31st of july....i love u my baby.....Daddycool

  • i really this song. One of my favorite song that i dedicated to my life. Thanks for posting in.

  • i have into the west! im soo upset cuz i cant find it. i miss watching it everyday. it makes me sad.

  • This amazing I ♥ it !

  • this video is great...Into the West is one of the best movies ever made....that movie changed my life....it turned me to the Native way

  • this song is my favorite

  • I like his voice it's not at all bad but not as good as Ricks,Levons, and Richards.

  • Robbie can't sing to save his life. Should have turned his mike off like they did when he was in the Band. Sarah's voice is great.

  • @pkugel Robbies voice is great. It's a fuckin lie to say they turned his mike down - his harmonies can easily be heard on The Band's recordings - both his voice and his guitar is beautifully soulful

  • I am not trying to lie. Levon Helm in his book, This Wheels on Fire, stated that is what the Band's sound guy did (Turning his mike off). He is great guitar player. If his voice was so great why is he only heard on two band songs (Two Kingdom Kong and Knocking Lost John)?

  • @Thomasbox180 They did turn off his mic. Levon said it in his book and i doubt he'd lie.And I think it was Richard and Rick singing harmony. Robbie didnt want to sing and he didnt. But his voice is pretty cool

  • @Thomasbox180 They turned his mic off for the last waltz for sure. And his voice is rarely heard on any band recordings.

  • @Thomasbox180 @Thomasbox180 Umm...i dont think youre hearing his voice. I think it's richard's and ricks. He didn't sing at all for the band (only like...twice) He didn't want to sing, he didn't like it.

  • Wonderful story. I love that song.

  • @hmngbrd

THERE's TOO MUCH JUDGEMENTAL NEGATIVE ATTITUDE IN THE WORLD WITHOUT ADDING TO IT.

ROBBIE ROBBERTSON MAY NOT TECHNICALLY BE A SINGER, BUT HE's AN EXCELLENT SOFT TONE CROONER, AND HAS ACHIEVED A VERY HIGH STANDING IN THE WORLD MUSIC ARENA AS WELL AS THE GENRE OF "NATIVE AMERICAN CONTEMPERARY."

At the Internaional Cultural Arts Institute, we salute you Robby.

  • Love how this was done, the lyrics fit the times so close to home.

  • Sarah and Robbie are very good combination to honour that amazing epos "Into the West" Thanks YT, I could get a chance to see it, good series like that never find the way to sweden and I don`t know why, Thanks.
