I’m happy with my 328i, but the only performance mods are sport suspection and the Signature Motoring performance intake for about $150. Signature Motoring kit adds around 11HP on the dyno, great sound, and the best performance upgrade for the money. See my channel videos!
-Adds 9-11 HP
-Never replace filter again (uses K&N filter)
-GREAT SOUND
-Installs in maybe 30-45 min. K&N filter lasts a lifetime.
Is somebody can help me? I am going to buy an E46 328i manual BMW, but I am not 100% sure that this set up can slide like this car at 0:19, I want to use the same way on public roads :), dont want to go fast, but want to drift a bit, so is it able to? Or not? Other question: how much does it eat on 100 Km about?
I love my 328i. Only mod is a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. They run around $170 and add up to 9HP in the E46 323/325/328 and up to 13.9HP in the 330. That's about $17/per extra HP... A good value for the extra oomph. General HP increases are shown:
The E46 looks much more robust than the E36 IMHO. I would put in the Signature Motoring performance intake kit for only around $150 and gain up to 13HP on the stock output for the 330i and a bit less for the 325 and 328. I highly recommend this item, see my youtube channel for the action video on it.
if the 328i engine is the same in these as it is in the e36 just get an m50 inlet manifold and conversion kit about £300 and it takes it from 193 hp to 230 hp

@V0ree a limited slip diff is what you need in order to drift a caqr easily and properly, so maybe fit a m3 diff in there
as for fuel consumption, I'd say the 328 drinks about 10 to 11 liters per 100km if you drive gently

@MMPowerTeam
NOT RIGHT
THE M52 TU have more than 215 HP and more than 300 NM
bmw says that they have 193 to make the insurance cheaper, because in 1998 every car that have more than 194 ps would pay more for the insurance
Original ps is 215 and 300 NM 328i
