  • does he ever drive straight the staoring wheel never stops moving.

  • does it fly ?

  • with grate power comes grate awsomnes

  • @chazmiseter and with your "grate" spelling comes a GREAT fail.

  • does it has reverse gear.

  • @sonofwind34 - Hi, No, No reverse gear. I will turn on the spot though if you get full lock andput your foot on the floor. It will just do a doughnut!

  • @bakerv3 hey what engine u runing on the buggy am running a gsxr 1200cc on my mini buggy its about the same size as yors and looks alot like it to

  • @weimorts12345 Hi, it's a Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R engine. It was plenty of power for those tyres.

  • are the plans worth the money and what shocks are you using

  • This is my favorite youtube piranha video. I am building on with a zx-7r and watching this always motivates me to get back to work on it. man that thing hauls ass.

  • Very cool! :)

  • hay how fast u think it will go

  • omg my dream vehicle lol

  • Sound like you have a turbo on there lol

  • damn that was awesome, im still looking for a similar design but for two so i can take the kids out on the farmland, nice one :)

  • Bonjour bakerv3

c'était pour savoir si vous avez les plan de votre buggy? et si oui si c'était possible de les avoir? avec ou sans condition

    merci

  • I want one of those!!

  • wow thats nuts, is it rear brake only? or do the front wheels have brakes on them

  • That one's got a single rear brake only... Not much good on chopped stubble field. VERY slippery!

  • what do u think the top speed on this thing is?

  • I only took it to about 70mph in the small field (with not much braking ability). If I had it on a larger field I think it would get to at least 100-120mph if the rear wheels would still grip against the wind resistance. I wouldn't trust it much past 80mph though. I had a weld break and a front wheel fall off at 50mph and that was scary!!

  • What kind of engine?

  • Kawasaki ZX6R

  • haha so in other words a fucking motorcycle engine haha that's why it is so fast how much did you pay for the engine

  • It was only about £60 as it was an engine from a stolen/recovered bike which couldn't be used on the road again. (Engine number was ground off). It did cost quite a bit more than that to buy carbs, CDI and wiring loom etc from eBay.

  • Thats one crazy toy... Sounds nice... I bet your mates are green with envy.

    Nos it up ;)

  • nicee buggy matee

  • hey do you still have the plans for this

  • that must be a nice fucking camera mount... like no shake at all lol

  • Haa...Haa.. It was taped on the frame with household stickytape! ;-)

  • i'm keeping that tactic in mind for future use

  • please tell me where i can purchase such a frame, and tell me what else i need, i just bought a cbr600 motor for a go kart and i realize now the only thing ill be able to put it in is a buggy frame.

  • I'm afraid that building the frame is 10 times easier than the rest of the build. You'll need to be able to weld brackets etc on the frame, so start with learning to mig weld then go from there. Buy plans from "The Edge Buggies".

  • Thanks !! : D

  • That is awesome man, makes me miss all my toys I had to sell. Kids, don't get married...

  • hahahahahahahahhahahahahhahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahaha

  • REALLY, it IS GREAT BUGGY

  • whats the h.p. its putting out???

turbos are the best thing for some engines, they increase h.p./torque and give better fuel economy when accelerating. best of both worlds ;)

  • dude you need to freaken shift! one of these days your gonna blow the engine to hell!

  • i agree with that:P

  • is this buggy on the edge products customer page.

  • Yeah.. About 3/4 way down I think. Search for Vince Baker.

  • I have watched clip after clip of interesting buggy's being driven like they were made of glass (snore zzzz), you on the other hand drove it like a stolen horse. Bravo my friend, I have had some hot machines in my 35 driving years, ('03 ZX9 at present) and I sure would like to drive that thing!!

  • Cheers.. I tend to thrash everything I own to an inch of it's life! ;-)

I must admit I snapped a few 30mm driveshafts in the early development days and had a few scary moments (e.g front wheel stub axle snapping off at 50mph), but that's what adrenelin sports are all about. :-)

I've got an old Yam FJ1200 on the road at the moment and that gets a bit of stick!

  • what engine do you have in that??

and did you make the chassis or buy it??

i have a suzuki 600f bandit engine i want to drop into a off road go kart. and this thing looks like the kinda thing i NEED lol

  • that has some power on it , i would die to have a thrape in one of thoose

  • realy fucking fast mate i have a ncf blitz with abarth engine. could i have simular engine in mine? and wot engine is it?

  • its a kawasaki zx6r engine, i dont know if its a ninja or not but i think so (this buggy and vid is not mine but the tags say zx6-r)

  • Is that thing turbocharged?

  • super, silnik hondy tutaj jest ?

  • if i have driving, i would be redlinin that thing :)

  • That thing is beastly!

  • Where can I get my hands on one of these?

  • thats looks so fun i want it...lol

  • and yours is how fast fucktard???? STFU

  • Really good buggy m8, lol you get some jokers on here dont you, "engine sounds a bit weak", "bit slow" lol....

  • I don't think i would want it to go faster lol

  • do YOU see the top end? and looks pretty fast i doubt your car's that fast, and any buggy that can beat a car is fast.

  • motorbike engine?

  • engine sounds a bit weak. :?

but otherwise - it's well done.

  • Do you mean weak mixture? It wasn't. The lambda was just right. Plus I was getting the full 100bhp out of it. (Which is plenty in such a light buggy)

  • im gunna build 1 , what engine should i use?

  • you need a wider chassis

  • Looks like so much fun, How much have you payed for it ?

  • How loud do you use earmuffs

  • Naa... I do wear a crash helmet though. ;-)

  • thnxs

  • my mates one is nearly finished, it has a 1.6litre pulsar engine in it, ive drivin it its madd!

  • Nissan pulsar engine 2.0l,16v turbocharged dohhhh.

  • no you have to make them. you can use ski-doo engines and other parts like make aroll cage suspension /

  • i thought you can just buy them built

  • where can i buy those

  • Buy those what? What parts are you looking for in your build?

  • I don't know about you, but that engine sounds sick.

  • Nope... It just sounds a bit strange because it's continuously spinning it's wheels.

  • check out my buggy videos!!!!

  • how fast can it go?

  • I only took it to 70mph (according to GPS), but at that speed it's hard to stop on slippery stubble. If I had more "straight line" space then 100mph would be easy.

  • wat did you use for your drive shafts i have built one and am haveing problems with the drives they keep on breaking?

  • I used Ford Sierra Half shafts welded (cut in well using at least 180 Amps) to some Lada Riva Propshaft CV joints. The static part of the drive had to be a proper keyed buggy axle as any movement of sprockets or brake discs will trash the axle. I broke mine several times before I spent some money on keyed steel carriers and axles.

  • R those tires Rubber becuz they look like those cheap fake bowling balls in my old elementary.

  • the RC51 is an american version of a honda VTR1000 v-twin

  • I'm putting an RC51 engine in mine. alot more low end torque and sounds better

  • Is that a CB750? (Sorry.. I'm not up to speed on what's what). I've just got myself a CB750 F2N (RC42) on the road. My latest buggy (Sidewinder) has got a VFR400 engine in it. Much more handleable due to it being better built and far superior wheels.

  • I want one!!!! How well does it do on the sand? Where i live (Oregon, United States) ther's alot of sand dunes on the beach where i always ride my YFZ. How much US Dollars is it?

  • how are u shifting?

  • thats cool lol

    how fast?

  • wow nice buggy!!

  • My mate has built one of these and put a 900cc Honda Fireblade engine in it. He has just got it back from powder coating and hasn't had a chance to assemble it yet. I can't wait till he does!

  • was that a yamaha 600cc engine?

  • No... It was a Kawasaki ZX6R-F3 (1997). (~100bhp)

It's got a Yamaha R1 exhaust on it though.

  • nice one, is it for sale????

  • No, Sorry. I sold it last year to someone who lives in France to pay for my Kit Car. I think I'm going to build another one this Winter as I do miss it.

Build one yourself.. Get plans from "The Edge Buggies". I built mine for under £800 by doing everything as cheap as possible.

  • that sounds great
