The Redeads have very bleak pasts. In MM, the redeads that were found Ikana Castle were said to have been ancient dancers and cerimonial etcs...which is why they reacted to the Captin's hat. In OOT, they were just another enemy that Ganondorf either created; only these were "unclean images of what was left". So.....who knows what the real history behind the ReDead is!
