You're forgetting the addition of Tyson Chandler. THAT WAS HUGE! Dallas never had a legit big man to compliment Dirk on the defense side. Jason Kidd also played exceptional (for his age). Marion in the post season was by far the best perimeter defender in the league (dare I say he shut down Durant and LeBron). Jason Terry every year is a 6th man candidate. Dirk didn't single handidly win shit. He had more than a solid squad.

I would put Garnett over Malone, cuz Garnett is a more versatile player than Malone was. Garnett managed to put up points as well as be one of the top defenders in the league. Malone was more of a scoring pf, and thats why he is #2 in scoring. But Garnett is a better skilled pf and more versatile in my opinion.

@ctpabon Nowhere near it, he's an offensive specialist and not much of an all around player. Take KG for example, in his prime he averaged well over 20ppg, 14rpg and 5 or 6ast (from the PF position), he also anchored his teams defense, he did everything on the floor. Dirk sucks at defense, he's not a good passer and he's not a particularly good rebounder for his size and position. He's a great offensive player but you can't put him ahead of guys like Duncan, Malone, KG, Barkley and Pettit.
