  • hi aiswarya, its an awesome performance.its very appreciated.especially u hav to share the credit to the mridangist.what a full filled&accurate play.let me know who is he?i hav a compliant about the musician who had accompanied u,that was technically perfect but not in the way of expression(i mean the sound modulation).dont miss undurstand me, with out the exact feel of music which convay through lyrics, can't enjoy commonly the people who like the classical art forms like this.GOD BLESS YOU EVER

  • She is good dancer, but I could not find her DVDs on

    w w w . J a y Q . org

  • its an awesome performence

  • this is elangovan from Annamalai University .hai aishwarya how r u ? very nice dance natrajar bless u my dear friend

  • I've been looking for a style like that for my niece, as she injured her back, can't move her neck, and can't do some of those difficult styles where they move too fast and do even those acrobatic karanas.

  • Really great! Even though she has been continuously dancing for so long and is sweating profusely, she doesn't even show a small sign of tiredness. Her dance is just as graceful as it was in the beginning!

  • She's sweating so profusely because there's no air-conditioning there, and it seems it wasn't windy.

But I see that she does look tired after continuously dancing for so long. I don't understand why. Her style's very leisurely., not too fast, not too sophisticated and not too demanding. I like it. As to her expressions, they are ok, in Italy nobody looks at your expressions anyway.

  • It takes a fair amount of effort and energy to make any movement seem leisurely and effortless.

Any style of bharatanatyam includes attami. You can't get around that.

  • She looks like Shobana is dancing now. Old.

  • Aishwarya is quite good, as she was lucky to study under Anita when the school was very small and every student got individual attention.

My daughter was learning there for 4 years and was still in the adavus class, nobody corrected her (40 children in 1 class!), has not learnt any item. We just had to find a better guru.

  • Amuzing!!!! Recently I witnessed Aishwarya dancing this same varnam at live prog, and that was 100% replica of her Natyanjali prog. I mean, it was EXACTLY the same. Dead identical!

Her guru needs to explain her that theres diference between art and mass production: in art every piece is unique, but in mass prod. all items are the same!

  • it is not Maye Mayan Sodariye...that varnam is just in Thodi. This varnam is "Swamiyai Azhaitodiva" in Ragamalika; Adi Talam; by Sri Dandayudapani Pillai.

  • okai abcwrc, chandradevi1,and chellavi.... guess what i bet Aishwarya is more famous and a much better dancer than the three of you combined so id suggest you go bring your ungrateful criticism elsewhere.

  • i was just comparing...

smitha madhav is much more famous and surely a better dancer than aishwarya narayanaswamy, but unlike aishwarya, i never heard smitha telling anybody that smitha is india's most talented dancer of bharatanatyam!

by the way, for your kind information, i am not a dancer at all, it doesn't mean that i cannot see the difference between a good dancer and a better dancer, does it?

  • lol i think they are both equally famous,

  • she is graceful, like smitha madhav.

but she is not able to lean left or right?

at 1.20? and at 1.42? and at 3.08? does she have any back probs?

  • Maybe because she is lean & tall?

  • old kelavi style? :)))))))))

  • Beautiful!

  • She is.
