Ok, for anyone coming on here stating that this guy shouldn't be in jail because what occured was an ACCIDENT, well, let me tell you that he made a conscious decision to drink and get behind the wheel of a car. That is NOT an accident. Her freinds received life sentences of death. She received a life sentence of disfigurement and goodness knows all the public crap that goes along w/that. Yes, he needs a very stiff sentence, perhaps life. As for forgiveness, well, that is on her terms.

Sometimes the greatest uplifting is found in the plight of others. Read about Job and see what God allowed o happen to him for the sake of His glorification.

If you know nothing than what makes you so sure that you "know" God did not save her? No person is claiming that God ripped the doors open and through magical gusts of wind pulled her out. What is being said is that God worked in her to keep her alive or get the people that did pull her out there in time to do so.

Ok, for anyone coming on here stating that this guy shouldn't be in jail because what occured was an ACCIDENT, well, let me tell you that he made a conscious decision to drink and get behind the wheel of a car. That is NOT an accident. Her freinds received life sentences of death. She received a life sentence of disfigurement and goodness knows all the public crap that goes along w/that. Yes, he needs a very stiff sentence, perhaps life. As for forgiveness, well, that is on her terms.

There are always certain factors to take into consideration when an acciendent occurs. A true accident is something that cannot be easily avoided. Spilling your beer or dropping a baby (who would?) could likely not be avoided, but driving drunk, that can be so easily avoided. Jacqueline would be living the way she was if he had just been responsible.

wow, how did she possible survive through this? she is definetly very strong mentally and physically. i would have killed myself had this happened to me
